Avoiding Cardiovascular Issues On Cycle

LORDGAINS… Let me say, I come in peace! I’m a friend vs a hater! but I’m going to have some fun! Fair game? LOL!

Lets get this straight! I never offered my credentials nor did I feel it necessary! LOL! I was asked if I was a cardiologist. Why one was inspired or motivated to ask? Unimportant. I felt intelligent conversation backed supported published science and clinical studies where of adequate presentation.

??? WHAT? Zero Discredit to Unreal… I’m sure he is an upstanding productive gentlemen and his demeanor humbles me!
But you would have a 19yo book smart, student (good reader) equate to a 20year medical professional? On it’s face That statement is to use your words “SHIT”! HAHAHA!

I would rather trust a pilot to fly a plane of 20 years experience and 8 years of education vs a 19yo “good reader”! Need open heart surgery? Hey you! Good reader! Ive got a job for you!!! LOL! I’m sure you get my point.

Appeal to authority? LOL! No one is an “Authority” here! This is a forum, a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. If someone disagrees and presents reasons why it’s valid to disagree, then if you feel that’s an Appeal to authority!

Your the Authority! I digress!

IMO with aas, experience and traditional knowledge are needed. Lots of ideas sound great in theory, but don’t pan out.

Reminds me of being back in school… Just some thoughts… I recall those in school who were “A” students 100% but had weak clinical application abilities. I didn’t care how smart they were, they had no business in the field of medicine.

I was a “B” student especially in pharmacology back then.
But man if you needed to overcome clinical medical challenges, an out of the box thinker, I was your guy! Ive seen many positive outcomes I could NOT entrust to any other.

Today, I’m all about pharma! “I’m a very good reader”! LOL. Love the topic! Total geek about pharma… Almost anti social in my research about it!

Knowledge is a drug to me. The gratification to share in methods that help others is a high!

But back to application. There are so many MD’s, Do’s, PHD’s, etc. I’ve seen that have zero business seeing patients! I guess this is true in many industries right?

I can’t say enough great things about CMD Ultrasound! I had a laparotomy last November for Pancreatic cancer. I’ve been in pain since January, having 2 CTS & an MRI , with radiologists reporting normal.

My abdomen was so swollen, and shocking to a doctor unrelated to my care for this condition, that I scheduled a health screening with CMD, and thanks to Steve’s expertise, I’m now getting the care I need.

My mother and I went for our ultrasounds in Bullhead City, AZ. They were very professional. They determined that I do not have mitral valve prolapse (valves having blood going the wrong way in the heart), even though since I was 16 all my cardiologists told me I did (I am 50 now). He showed me on the monitor exactly why it was just a borderline case. He found one of my mother’s carotid arteries 40% blocked, so she can share that with her doctor, and confirmed that she has gallbladder stones.

Now… How are these missed by doctors? These are just a sample of what i see daily! It’s very concerning to me and healthcare professionals need to do better! Not all are bad but the good ones are overwhelmed because they are good!

Just some thoughts…

100%!

I have an endocrinologist who is on point. When he saw my Nat Test @ 400 and said that’s to low for ME, I almost hugged him! LOL. Yet he is humble enough to ask questions of me in my opinion of goals and thinking to HCG, HGH, TEST etc… We need more like him!

In real life no. On the internet in a forum? Yes. I can check the validity of your statements independent of your credentials.

That is my point if you are indeed a good reader.

I made this point because you said

You are right here I think. For a fit and healthy individual with normally good cholesterol, the numbers won’t change that much. If this healthy and fit individual uses roids, I think you are right too that in that case the numbers may only change up to 20% because the underlying issue wasn’t excessive body fat, decreased insulin sensitivity or a very shitty diet.

In my case (I’d have to look at the numbers again, was years ago) I think it were 15% from a low calorie ketogenic diet (high total cholesterol) vs a 40/30/30 diet with IF.

Steroids are awesome however I come across many who are creating health issues that can be minimized through education.

If anyone else has input towards this goal, please share!

The primary evil of steroids is artery disease leading to heart disease, stroke, or death.
High blood pressure, thick blood, blood clots, water retention and may other side effects.

The main reason is… steroids destroys HDL - good cholesterol.
With low HDL, the flood gates of cardiovascular disease open wide.
HDL acts like a detergent removing fats from your system. High LDL is not an issue when HDL ratios are high.

Steroids also increase bad cholesterol accelerating the effects of CVD.
LDL and VLDL causes inflammation to artery wall causing macrophages to proliferate artery walls and creates plaque formation leading to higher blood pressure, and increased risks of negative consequences from thick blood or blood clots.

What can you do to help?

Raise your HDL!
8g of Salmon oil, Niacin, MODERATE ALCOHOL consumption (shocker), Cardio

Lower your LDL!
Avoid saturated fats, trans fats. Avoid carbs and glucose when possible as the livers fuel source for cholesterol mfg is glucose. Eat oatmeal and fiber. Whey protein. Cardio.

Keep your blood from becoming thick.
Steroids increases blood volume leading to high blood pressure, blood clots and increase stress on the heart.
Take 800iu Vitamin E, 8g Salmon oil, Donate blood monthly, stay hydrated.

The other side effects of steroids can also be managed.
HCG during and after cycle is highly successful at preventing long term testicular problems, especially for young adults.

Estrogen blockers to manage high testosterone aromatization conversion to estrogen.

Water pills with potassium to manage bloating.

DHT blockers like 800mg Saw palmetto to prevent hair loss and enlarged prostate.
Also adding 20g collagen and 20,000 to 50,000mcg Biotin to aid in hair growth acceleration.

Joint pain. 8g Salmon oil, 20g collagen, BPC-157, AVOID oxalates and oxalate toxicity!

Avoid tendon damage - Collagen, HGH, BPD-157, stretching and warming up, avoiding ego lifting, rest, listen to your body!

Don’t supplement more steroids for lack of training! Train to failure in the gym while on steroids! You made the commitment to cycle, don’t waste this opportunity!

Best of luck everyone!

If you donate blood even every 3 months there is a very good chance you will crash your ferritin in 6 to 9 months. Ask me how I know?

Good Point!
However, it’s easy to overcome with iron intake. Also if you eat red meat, pork and poultry.
What did doctors advise you to do?

Stop donating blood.
I eat one meal of steak 4 days a week, Chicken breast 4 days, Beef liver, 4-6 whole eggs, COD, Salmon, shrimp, spinach salads daily, I season everything with nutritional yeast in place of salt and pepper, etc. What I am saying is my natural iron intake is high.

This is my current anti aging treatment plan. Ferrous Sulfate was added for the crashed ferritin.
They already knew about my diet since the first think they did when I joined was to teach me what to eat when to eat it and how to cook it.

Final note, I did enjoy reading your first posts. There was a few tips in there I want to try. I don’t know enough about this subject to join in any of the discussions. So Thanks for all the hard work.
