In that case, I hope season 2 is better for 2 reasons. 1. because it would be more entertaining and 2. because it would be more likely that Nickelodeon will keep it going after the second season. They can still do a lot with the story.
I’m still not convinced she’s supposed to be fully realized (if it explains beyond the shadow of a doubt in that link, then my mistake, the link didn’t work on my work computer) because Tenzin finally called her that. It could just mean he acknowledges her official potential to become fully realized whereas before he had doubts because of her inability to learn air bending.
With that being said, plenty of new seasons could have been written about Aang as a fully realized Avatar and his exploits. So maybe they are going to attempt to do that with Korra in the next season. Have a show that is more about what the avatar does after becoming one, instead of being about the journey leading up to becoming one.
