- very happy with dips. Havenāt done them in a while. First set hurt like hell. Adjusted my grip a little, second set had almost no shoulder pain. Now that Iām a bit lighter, Iād like to start pushing these as accessories again, always had good success when I did them before.
Yeah i discovered Bang energy drinks, 200mg per can⦠and i can go through them.

Lol, I had a 3 bang a day habit getting through NPTU. Now Iām down to about 2 monsters a day most days, or 1 and a cup of coffee. Only 140mg each, so still less than 1 bang, and I swear the placebo affect of a tingly energy drink is some serious stuff

Man i used to run on coffee alone back in the day. Energy drinks were out there but not the wide variety like today. Plus i was thrifty as hell.
Now its a c4 pre every gym day, coffees (multiple), usually a bang, then another coffee in the afternoon.

- happy with how bench moved. 225x3 moved easy, and all the backoff sets were smooth, great form.
- BTN press starting to really feel strong, wonder how that will carryover to my overhead when I get back to it.
- dumb to care about, but curls felt great lol. I feel like Iāve never really āgotā curls, and my biceps reflect it. I have decent sized arms, and they are all tricep lol. Starting to get something out of curls, and even if 70x10 is prolly pathetic for a guy with my squat and dead, Iāll still take it.
Yeah we donāt really care about the lifts, weāre just here waiting for more 2am gym stories.
Btw - adding 1 or 2 sets of curls, at the end of every session, without āfeeling the burnā or setting PRs or anything taxing, has brought my biceps back from the dead. 10/10 recommend.

Fwiw some dudes literally come to the gym just to do curls. You get to feel superior curling alongside them knowing this is just your mindless throwaway work.

- Jesus Christ that set of squats was terrible. Anyone can look at the video, I look like a damn baby giraffe. I think Iāve gone a bit far with the wider stance, need to bring it in some. Absolute grinder, definitely a true RPE 10.
- brought my stance in a little, tried messing with feet positions on my back off sets. I think I may need to angle my toes out slightly, and Iām wondering if the raised heel may actually be hurting me.
- this is my peak weak for this whole program. Heaviest lifts going down. My body is feeling beat up, Iām ready for some volume, especially lower body. Think it will also help my squat, I noticed I tend to do better form wise when Iām really throwing a lot of reps volume wise.
- started feeling like I was about to vomit after my incline presses. Not sure whatās up with that. Just generally felt like garbage the rest of my workout.
- 99% sure Iām doing juggernautai powerbuilding after this. Small part of me is feeling a body building itch.
- overall, pleased with today. Hit this after 4 hours of sleep after getting off nights and trying to adjust my rotation, poor hydration, mild hangover, and terrible form. My āugly strengthā levels are fantastic right now lol. Maybe not pretty, but I will barbarian that shit up.

- got short cycled on the duty rotation, so even though I got off nights yesterday I still have a 36 hour day tomorrow. I got short cycled to go onto nights in the first place, no real day to adjust my sleep schedule. Now again. Iāve pushed my sleep pretty far before, but this is the first time Iām actually worried if I will be able to safely do my job with this amount of sleep deprivation. Pretty angry about it. I know Iāve made myself the āgo toā guy at my job who they can kinda count on to cover down when the chips are down, but I canāt do it literally all the time.
A giraffeās kick can one shot a lion, so they have a parallel set of legs.

Atlasās mess of a love life update:
Closed down the bars yesterday. Good friend I havenāt seen since deployment. We tore down the town, had a few too many, laughed until we cried, and repeated the whole process a few times. Drank more than I was planning, though not nearly as much as my friend lol. Love the guy, absolutely cant handle his liquor, woke up to him cuddling one of my dogs toys while passed out on the couch lol.
Got a date lined up for Sunday. Sounds dumb, but I have never actually done the whole āpick up a girl at a barā thing before. I was too young before my last relationship, and then I havenāt really gone to any bars since then. Well, met a pretty cool gal last night, we hit it off pretty well. (much to the dismay of my buddy, who was very distraught that he was chasing everything with a pulse without a bit of success) Great looking girl, found out she does NPC bikini competitions. IDK if ive ever actually met someone outside of the gym who does that lol. Ive had a few ādatesā with girls ive known for a long time since being single, but this is the first time im going out with someone new, and also someone local, so thats exciting.
She is a few years older than I. Honestly, I am finding that I am not all that interested in a lot of the women my age. Not a looks thing, but a personality one. I am 26. But god, I really donāt āfeelā 26, if that makes any sense. I have a career with a lot of responsibility, a mortgage, investments, Iāve been through an 11 year relationship, traveled all over the world. I am an adult. Which I think is expected by 26, at least it always was amongst my family when I was growing up. Donāt get me wrong, I still feel good, my body feels good, Iām definitely still 26 lol. But I find that when I talk to a lot of people, outside of work, who are around my age, I feel like I am an adult around teenagers. It is⦠odd. I donāt mean it in a bad way, but more so I just feel I am in a very different chapter of my life than a lot of people of the same age. Weird position to be in, especially when I am getting back into the dating game for the first time since I was 15.
So long story short, I met a gorgeous early 30s bikini competitor at a bar, and im taking her to brunch this weekend. She is probably an inch taller than me, so its time to break out the cowboy boots lol. wish me luck.

@creative_name Definitely hard as fuck lol, That sticking point on the 3rd rep had me seriously questioning if I was gonna finish the set or not. Ended up popping all sorts of blood vessels in my traps, neck, face, looks gnarly lol.
