I once watched Kirk Cameron, and probably the other guy, have a debate on evolution with a couple of other people, and I had one thought on the whole thing. Everyone was a douche.

The religious side had arguments that could have been debunked by a high school student. (And if you have ever talked to a high school student, you know how bad that is.) And the other side’s debate was total crap, most of which was not about evolution, but instead about how there was no God. Fucking stupid.

Evolution has nothing to do with religion, and should not be thought of as promoting or disproving any religion, or god. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.

Often times believers don’t speak up enough to defend what we believe in. Other times, like this video, some should not speak up at all. The logic of it is all wrong. Just stick to the basics, boys.

I am amazed and shocked that people admit out loud and in public that they think there is a superhero that started the whole thing. Kinda creepy.

Well, with Starcraft II, WoW: Cataclysm, and the unnamed MMO they are working on, it makes sense that at least one game would be delayed. And logically, Diablo III is going to be the least lucrative. That being said… I’ve been waiting since Diablo II LoD. What’s it been like 8 years? That’s way too long. Look at Final Fantasy, one comes out like every other month. But, Blizzard has never disappointed in the past.

OT: You mentioned that the probability of the universe forming from the big bang is very unlikely. The interesting thing about that is it is now theorized the big bang happens all the time. Universes spring up and start expanding, if they expand to much they keep expanding and never create a universe, but if they don’t expand enough they collapse into themselves. There are other variables at work in the theory, but you get the gist of it. So, even if the probability is extremely low that a universe would be formed, giving the universe infinite chances to form remedies that improbability.

I have no idea whether this theory is true or not. It just seemed relevant and interesting.

I’ll say that first of all, I do believe in God. Secondly, debating that God created everything because a banana fits in your hand is like saying my butt created my hand because it needs scratching. C’mon, Mike. Get together with Boner and work on your apologetics.
