I am not against steroids, but if they are illegal to use without a prescription and against the policies of your sport, you should be disqualified, period

Anyhow, although I don’t like people making that point, the only reason people talk about throwing the asterisk is because people are jealous. They’re jealous they don’t have the work ethic to be as good as Bonds. They’re jealous that Bonds is able to do whatever the f*ck he wants, even be an arrogant a-hole and the people still cheer for him.

Even with steroids, I could not do it. What he did was difficult with or without steroids. I have no doubt that he was able to extend his career by using. Listen the guy is a prick, but that has nothing to do with why I want the asterisk. He perverts the game and by violating it, shows disrespect of the game.

But the best steroids in the world can help you drive a hard to hit pitch farther than you normally would drive it. IE, balls that you have to reach for, or balls that are a little inside.
