I took time out of my busy schedule(yeah right) and finished the game. Without spoiling the ending to this game… I want to ask, WTF?!?
Totally different and I am still confused. Otherwise, awesome game!

They tried to bribe some German gaming magazine for a perfect score and the magazine called them out on it in the review.
I am not going to read any further.
Why the hell would you rush through a game so quickly? I just started playing it tonight, and damn, I like it.
How different is it from the first? Any good new extras or more of the same?

So far, much better.

That has happened with several German magazines.
They review games with teutonic thoroughness, as uinbribable as Prussian civil servants.
You do not mess with German nerds.

First, rushing through this game makes no sense. They clearly made this to be a type of “sandbox” game and they filled it with enough stuff to keep you occupied for quite a while.
As far as your question, it is different from the first in ways that make it seem as if the first game was a test run. They cleaned up every issue that people had with the first and made the game play much smoother. There is now currency you can use, and entire villa you can build up and maintain, and you can now bribe hookers and thieves to help you get past guards. It will steal a shit load of time away.
But back to the issue of rushing through it…first that would take about 20 hours straight which means the op must not go outside at all…and second, games like this aren’t made to race through. They are made to experience a specific time in history…something you can’t do if you simply rush through missions as if you are being timed on it.
Pluses of the game also include being able to take down guards while hanging off the side of a building and the ability to travel between city destinations instantly without worrying about horses and extra travel.

How does that erase the near perfect score the game has gotten on nearly every video game review site?
I hate video games
BUT
On this one, I’m hooked

While it may seem (is) unrealistic, they probably bribed every single one of those as well.
I didn’t tell you this
But honestly, if the game is that good, why would they feel the need to bribe reviwers?

It doesn’t. I haven’t even played the game. I just heard that and thought it was funny and relevant to this thread.
Question is this a buy or a rent? I debating on whether or not to buy this game im the kinda guy who will buy games only for 2 reason multiplayer and/or being a one of a kind 10/10(or fucken close) storyline and gameplay and also replay value. So what say you guys would say this game is one of a kind? or Just a very good game?

Excellent, thanks X, what I needed to hear. I like a good sandbox to make the game last and the extras sound great. Funnily, I enjoy riding between the cities on horseback, there was alot to explore in the last and a few good battles to get into ![]()
It must be great. I haven’t seen my son for six days.
The game is great they have gotten rid of the repetitive investagations that you had to fo before an assassination now all the misssions seem to contribute to a single goal and the assassination tomb missions are alot of fun

I spent all of last weekend in that world. It is very interesting how they tried to make all of the people much more different than in the previous game. In the first one, there must have been only 8 to 10 models of what people looked like or said in the game. In this one, aside from characters like those irritating dudes who try to get money from you for singing to you, most of the people are dressed in brighter colors that don’t all look exactly the same.
Someone asked if this is one you buy. That depends on what games you like.
I consider Batman worth buying. The same goes for Infamous, Tekken 6, and many others. I have never been the type to rent a game like this anyway because you end up acting like the OP…rushing through it instead of really enjoying every minute of it.
This game focuses on the main character more whereas the first one gave you no background story on the assassin.

Maybe he pirated it? Not that anyone here would ever consider doing that of course… It did leak a few days early.

What’s with the accusations that I rushed through this game? The game came out last week. I discovered all the codex’s, upgraded my villa fully, and of course A…'s armor. I bought the game for the PS3 and had a lot of free time to play it.
The ending was very interesting and still curious as to what exactly is going on, I guess we will have to wait for AC:3
