Well wood is a whole heck of a lot cheaper lol. A little ingenuity makes for some good training stuff.

Im using an old ice fishing sled with logs in it actually lol. The rope kinda digs in a little, but not too bad.

25 minutes of soft tissue and stretching. Feels good mannn

Warmed up with soft tissue and dynamics

Chinups- BW x6, x6, x6
Press- barx10, 65x5, 80x5, 95x5, 115x3, 135x3, 155x3, 165x3, 172.5x2 PR, 182.5x1 PR, 155x7 PR, 135x5
Inverted rows (feet 18")- BWx5, 25x5, 45x3, BWx8, x7, x6
Ring pushups (feet on floor)- BWx10, x10, x8, x6 90s rest
Chest supported rows- 145x10, x10, x10, x9 90s rest
Band facepull- x100 reps (3 sets)
Band pushdown- x100 reps (2 sets)

Took 75m. Chins felt decent, getting tougher. Like pulling before pushing, feels like I am more warm when I touch the bar first. Press was fuckin awesome. Felt like working up heavy, 165 felt easy. 172.5 was a PR, coulda went for an easy 3 with it. Though I loaded 177.5, which would have been a PR but I loaded 182.5 and killed it. Coulda hit it for a double. Then hit 155 for a 2 rep PR, last rep was sketchy but hey I am stupid sometimes. Did an immediate drop set to 135 and it felt so damn hard. Stealing the drop set idea from csulli just for funsies. Sucked didnt want to do another drop. Inverted rows were good, went higher this time because I found a way to rig it so I still have a marker for depth but hit pretty much hand level. Ring pushups made my tits inflate like a balloon. Rows made my back feel gigantic. Band stuff had such a lactic buildup. Damn good session. Gonna post all 3 press PR’s cuz I am pumped. 182.5 in the video, funny cuz I missed 185 like two weeks ago and hit this semi easily.

172.5 x2, coulda hit it for an easy triple.

155x7, previous best was 5 reps. Last was sketchy but still not bad.

Warmed up with soft tissue and dynamics

Front squat- bar 2x10, 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 205x3, 225x3, 245x3, 255x1 (easy)
Paused front squat- 185 3x2 (3s pause), 185 3x2 (1s pause)
RDL- 185 5x8
Not very heavy humps- 225 4x10
Tabata kettlebell swing- 50 pound 'bell
200 gripper 2x15s each

Took about an hour. Front squats felt fucking heavy, but form looked good so I went semi heavier. Last rep of 245 felt like a rounded over like a camel but it looked pretty damn good. 255 was easy. Paused stuff kicks my left nut so hard. Balls. RDL was good, hamstrings and low back got some decent work. Pretty light stuff tho. Hip thrusts were easy but got a butt pump. Ooof. Coulda went heavier but havent done them in a while so I figure id keep them light and really controlled. Good stuff. What the hel tabata. Didnt feel that hard when I was doing it, I mean yeah it kinda sucked but not as much as I expected. Then I was amazed at how long I was breathing super hard. Like ten minutes I was panting, they didnt feel that hard during dafuq!?! Gripper made my palm hurt. Meh. Decent front squats, 245x3 in video. I was not content with the third. Still dont think I shoulda done it. Dummyface.

I used to axle hip thrust like 450 for reps when I trained the deadlift frequently. Nowadays I would get a dandy ass whoopin from 225. My post chain has become a thick, pasty, scarred vestige of my past injuries and elephantman-esque body. I’m miring your supple leopardness. :frowning:

Miring-
verb
gerund or present participle: miring
cause to become stuck in mud.
“sometimes a heavy truck gets mired down”
synonyms: bog down, sink (down) More
cover or spatter with mud.

I’m mirin.

Im going to interpret that as you want me to get you stuck in mud. Ill take that as a compliment.

Warmed up with soft tissue stuff and dynamic stuff

Chinups- BWx6, x6, x6
Inlcine bench- bar 2x10, 95x5, 135x5, 165x5, 185x3, 195x3, 205x3, 215x1, 225x2 PR, 165 4x5 (tried to be CAT style)
Inverted row (feet 18")- BWx5, 25x5, 45x7 PR, BWx12, x10, x8
DB press- 35’s 5x10 1m rest
CS rows- 135 5x10 1m rest
Kroc rowish- 85 1x20 each
Band pushdown x100
Band facepull x100

Took 80m. Chinups were better than last time but still not good enough to go up, unless I feel good next time. Incline felt good, 205 was roughish. 215 flew up. Wanted to hit 225 on incline cuz I have never touched anything over 200 actually. The second rep was slight grinder, maybe could have eeked out 1 more if I really needed to. Inverted rows went good, got a PR. Did more volume on my backoff sets as well. Getting stronger. DB press was easy, gonna do a little heavier or do ring pushups with a band. Prolly should go over at least 1-2x a week. CS rows were good until the last two sets. Barely got 10 on the last set, bareeeeeely. Kroc row was meh. Session went a little long so I didnt have it by this time. Hit my band pump stuff, got a nasty pump. Done. Need to add in some wrist extension stuff instead of the kroc row cuz my left elbow is getting a very mild annoyance. Friggen lateral epicondylitis. BYE.

Was that DB Bench Press or DB Overhead Press?

Overhead

Warmed up with soft tissue and dynamics

Deadlift- 135x10, 185x8, 225x5, 275x3, 315x1, 365x1, 345 5x3
Paused front squat- 135 8x5 1m rest
Farmers walk- 90 5x100’ superset with KB swing- 50 5x20

Took 1 hour. Farmers and KB stuff was some decent conditioning, took roughly 10 minutes. Made me breath pretty darn noice. Anywho, deadlifts felt decent, did a slight over warmup type thing. 365 was pretty easy. 345 was fairly good, but a few were slightly harder. No grinders but a few were slower. Figured Id do something semi prilipens chart related. Went 85% of 405. Front squats were all pretty darn fast. Prolly the last couple on the last sets were slowing down. Tough with 8 sets and shorter rest. Conditioning was good because I still got to lift stuff. I liked it. Good session, got some good work in. 345x3 in video, was either the 4th or 5th set.

Warmed up with dynmaic stuff and soft tissue work, same as always…

Press- barx10, 65x5, 80x5, 95x5, 115x3, 135 5x5 2m rest easy
Chinups- BW 4x5, x4, 2x3 (30total) on the minute
Ring pushups- BW 5x8, dropset to knees on last set x10 (50reps)
Chest supported rows- 135 5x10, 2m rest
Band pushdown- x100 reps
Band facepull- x100 reps
Band pullapart- x100 reps

Took 80m. Press was waaaay to easy. Second time I have hit a 5x5 at 135, but this one was waaaaay easier so ill say its a PR. Chins kinda sucked. Gonna do my 10x3 or somethin next time, got some good back action going though. Ring pushups were good, 5x8 is a PR, got my tits perky. Rows were hard this time. Went completely flat instead of head like 20 degrees higher. I liked them flat more, felt waaay mroe back stuff. Was tough as hell to get all those. Had to take mini breaks cuz I am stubborn and not using less than a plate. Band stuff for pumpy stuff. Figured I pushed more then pulled so Id hit band upper back twice as much. My rear delts feel crushed currently. Prolly gonna do chins next session with legs cuz I didnt pull enough today. Anyways good session. 135 last set in video.
