Can you believe my maiden name was Finocchio…sad but true.
May have already been asked, but do you subscribe to any muscle mags?
I splurged and got M&F, cause The Rock was on the front cover blush[/quote]
Well, Finocchio actually means something in Italian, you know. It’s a kind of vegetable - fennel, or a closely related variety of fennel.
I don’t subscribe to any muscle mags… Haven’t since MuscleMedia went under. I will often pick up and skim through IronMan and will read Poliquin’s Smart Training column in there. Speaking of which, why does Poliquin no longer do his semi-monthly TN article?
If you bought M&F just for The Rock cover, I guess you’d pick him as a training partner over Kid Rock, eh?
My answers:
Grocery shopping late in the evening on a weeknight
Time-out (I’ve never hit my daughter, or any female for that matter)
I like my coffee just like I like my women - HOT and nice and STRONG!!!
(I also like coffee black and unsweetened, but that doesn’t really work above, lol.)
I have only received a professional massage ONCE in my life, and it was a chair massage in a busy airport terminal. The woman was fairly nice looking, but I don’t think anything “changed.”
Favorite fairy tale? The old Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella. (It’s violent enough to give kids nighmares.) Some of those original stories are nothing like the sanitized Disney stuff!
My phobia: Serving a stretch in the joint. I’d much rather be in combat on the front lines!
Irrational injury fear: sharp objects like needles and knives.
Favorite game: Pictionary
Favorite seasoning to cook with: pepper (plain black and/or red or cayenne)
Strength feat: well, my deadlift is my strongest of the three powerlifts
Mom-in-MD’s question:
I would choose Florida. Washington is way too cloudy and rainy in winter and that’s just depressing. Hawaii is isolated and ridiculously expensive. Florida has nice weather, doesn’t have to be too expensive to live there (depends where you are), and there’s plenty to do if you are stuck taking care of little kids.
Question:
Which would be better… dating someone with stronger attraction for you than you have for him/her, or dating someone for whom you have a stronger attraction than he/she has for you?
