Did anybody see the real video that kick ass was based off of? This reminds me of it, a bunch of people beating up on someone then the masked man came and held all of them off for 8 minutes. He took a beating too, thisw just reminded me of it

no! can you link me it?!
sometimes I think everyone without a T-Nation account should die. it wouldn’t mean a world without assholes, but it would be a good start. Oh, and there wouldn’t be enough females. I honestly don’t know where to begin when I see something like this.
I got picked on my fair share in high school. I was in Colorado and everyone was on red alert after the Columbine massacre, so instead of rounding up the bullies they made me take “remedial psychiatric counseling.” I learned that I really am a threat to the herd if I choose to be, but I chose not to be. I hope this young man chooses the same thing, because this is where school shootings come from.
Those dumb fucking bastards.

thanks! that guy’s an absolute champ
Happy ending, at least. This shit of 7v1 is running wild, with far worse outcomes involving a bit older guys mostly(at least where I live–)
Amazing how pathetic you probably have to be to feel equal to, and, get satisfaction from ganging onto someone so obviously weak and unwilling to punch you back in the face.
AMAZING…
Another senseless beating… with a bad ending.

nuts. only thing that gets me more raging than attacks by strangers is when its police, recently friends of mine were pepper sprayed outside a club for having taking a beer outside and then arrested, no back chat and were co operating by taking the drink back inside.

I would have to jump in. I could not stand by and watch that. I think the parents should sue the school for not doing anything to help or send security to help that kid.
Remaining indifferent when violence is going on is just as bad as being the person(s) throwing the punches. So in my view the school by not taking steps to be pro-active and responsive to a child in need, deserves a law suit to smarten them up and prompt better care and action.[/quote]
I agree about jumping in. In practice, however, it could get ugly. There’s a scene like that in Kickass.
Something like this happened in my former city. A uniformed cop actually got the crap beat out of him on the street by a guy he had been attempting to arrest. It happened at rush hour and car after car just drove by, with no one intervening. I was appalled when I heard about it. I’m sure I would have pulled over, double-backed to quietly get behind the guy, and given his ass enough of a kick to let the cop regain the upper hand.
So I watched the video and listened carefully this time. About 1:45 before he kicks him in the face, the guy in the hoodie says something like “you don’t understand…jumping 20 people, you think that’s funny.” Could sound like there is another story here…

There’s always another story…but this is still screwed up.
However, I honestly see posting it on every forum and across the internet just so people can gawk and talk about what they would do IF to be worse.
Yeah…this is fucked up…and no, watching it, getting pissed off and telling the world what you would do isn’t helping the situation.
It’s like those people who slow down all traffic to watch the car wreck. They’re a part of the problem now too.

near the end it sounded like the one mentioned about a picture, so i think the kid getting beaten up deffinitely did something to piss them off and thats how they got caught so fast.

Yeah, I doubt there were any angels in the whole group. If this was pay back, this story is only half as interesting without the details.

Every time someone records themselves committing a crime, I am amazed.
Really, don’t they teach this is school these days?

That there are cameras in the halls but the school districts cannot afford video tape, or even to turn them on in some cases.

This is a much studied psychological phenomenon. Most people don’t stop because they assume someone else has surely already called police or gone for help etc.

attempted murder as far as I’m concerned.

In most states, kicking someone in the head while they are on the ground is a felony. I’m sure - or at least I hope - that every one of these kids get beat much worse while in jail. This video is just the kind of thing that would make a corrections officer look the other way when a beatdown starts coming.
Also, one kid thinks he is throwing on a guillotine choke a few minutes in to it. Given how long he holds it, I think that specifically should be considered attempted murder.
