For anyone whose followed my last log, I am doing well haha. Hectic last 5 months. Me and my girlfriend have moved from Colorado to Michigan 2 months ago, and we’ve just got settled down at our new place. Have been missing Colorado alot but Michigan is suiting us well. Much cheaper too lol. Starting a new training phase, been at it for the last month, I will post this week’s training below.
I also just turned 21. Id like to have an 1900 gym total by my birthday, we’ll see what happens. Downside of moving is that I lost my coaches, and the lifting crew so training solo for now

Thanks. It’s been super busy lately, moving to Michigan was very expensive and we’re just bouncing back lol. Glad to be back and being able to prioritize lifting again,

This was my topset off the racks, I’ve been getting a little better with recording my sets but still annoying to do haha

Do me a favor and don’t look at mine - I haven’t touched a barbell in the last like year until 2 weeks ago

Dude it’s funny how that works, I don’t know if it’s the same for you but whenever I take a long break I reach a point where I’m like "damn , I really need to start lifting some shit’ and the cycle repeats itself over and over lol

Oh, I just meant that I stopped lifting like a man in pursuit of being prettier. I’ve been training the whole time, I just stopped my big compounds.
I got prettier at least

hey to be fair, I do feel like bodybuilding work has a huge carry over to compounds , I noticed my strength improve significantly once I started doing my accessory work/days with machines and dumbbells
Do you plan on going back to compounds ?

I actually just started back up like 2 weeks ago. Had a long stint of Failure based training (DoggCrapp, TBJP, Fortitude, etc.) which heavy compounds does not integrate well with.
I like 531 progression but it’s lacking a bit so I bastardized Phraks Greyskull LP and turned it into Phraks Greyskull 531, with a few accessory Rest-Pause movements for show.
My bench may have actually gone up. All other lifts are hurting right now but it’s to be expected. We’ll see where I’m at in a month or two.

Oh man, the thought of training to failure on a squat makes me shudder lol
And I respect the dedication to the programs, I can’t for the life of me stick to a set program before I go off track and do something random , dont know how you do it lol
And wouldn’t be surprised if your bench did get stronger, Ive noticed even if I stay off bench for a bit I can still get some PRs out of it but my deadlift and squat go to shit lol

Didn’t have time to do much. Saving my heavy deads for my day off so kept it light with singles.
450x12 is a raw PR for me, never done it before so periodization is going really good. Wanting to work up to 475x12 before I throw on my wraps.

Some practice with 495, I widened my stance a little and I’m liking it. Moves slower but feels easier haha
