See! I knew it! Canadians…pure evil. Must invade!
If Americans invade does that mean I can come live in California ? Woooooot! Surfs up and Muscle Beach!
Fuck that, you squareheads are living in Michigan where you belong.
Who the fuck wants a Chinese car anyway?
They said that about Japanese cars?
And about Korean ones?
Some of those I do want.
Japanese cars are awesome. The only people who don’t like Japanese cars are folks who watch nascar and get boners at family reunions.
Korean cars aren’t too shabby either. I test drove a Hyundai when the wife needed a new car and I was damn impressed. I bought her a VW instead, but that Hyundai was by no means a shitmobile. 10 year/100,000 mile warranty too.
Chinese cars though? China is good at making cheap crap. The high-end items they attempt to make are pretty fucked. They may start exporting more cars, and I’m sure some people will buy them, but I don’t think they are going to take over the automotive world.
Neither were the Japanese going to.
Neither were the Koreans going to.
I remember when both Kia and Hyundai were utter crap.
I am sure after the Chinese have cranked out the first 100 million or so they will now how to build good cars.
BTW, as an aside, all cars have asbestos parts…The brake pads have asbestos in them, usually. That doesn’t mean the Chinese don’t suck.
I think I am going to write the Chinese consulate and tell let them know we beat them in the Olympics and they are just a bunch of tyrannical losers. They may steal their athletes from their families as babies, and raise them totally immersed in the sport, but they still lose to America, damn it! 'Cause we’re like Americans and they can suck our ass because we’re better using volunteer athletes who are privately sponsored… HA HA… fuck you China.
Asbestos isn’t all bad. There are forms of it that are, but also forms that aren’t. Even the harmful kinds have to be in certain uses to be dangerous, and even then only in large long lasting exposure. An exhaust gasket is probably a perfectly safe use. This may in, large part, be a violation of regulation more than a safety issue.
Asbestos is kind of the saturated fat of materials. People think cancer and shit just hearing the word and it isn’t the case. Most of the regulation and fear is overreaction.

Too many chincs in the fenders.
he he…
I went ahead and emailed to Chinese consulate to let them know they lost to us yanks in the Olympics and told them they are a bunch of tyrannical losers, who enjoy poisoning the consumers of their products…There was no point, just immaturely trying to piss off some chinese government official for 2 seconds.
Naturally I used my junk email address, still I bet it would be hard to get a visa to Beijing, now.
You should write a thank you letter to the factory camps where those kids make your athletic shoes you pay $200.00 for and the kid made $0.05 to make it. I am sure that would be good comfort for him/her to know when they get beaten for taken a piss break in a 18 shift.
Of course it would be.
Because their alternative is not frolicking in the meadows but back breaking labor in a rice paddy or starvation.
They do not live in Kansas Dorothy, if they got offered a better alternative, they would take it.
For what its worth, manufacturing wages have been going up like crazy in China.
Want less kids to work 16 hour shifts in a rice field or blow people for money?
Buy Chinese.
In fact, demand that children had a part in building it.
There should be a sticker.
You’re assuming that Chinese children are a limited resource.
I like chinese food, except the whole eating endangered animals thing they do, but it’s 100% true they steal and cheat as much as they can.
fucking assholes
I work with a bunch of Chinese immigrants, haven’t seen cheating or stealing.
Ironically they’re just as racist as you are - they see Americans as either inbred hillbillies or lazy and stupid. You are confusing the Chinese Communist Party with Chinese people. Chinese people confuse American Television with the American people.
On the other hand - most Chinese women cannot park a car. They will actually drive past easy spots to find a closer one and then spent 5 minutes lurching about till the car is more or less in.
Asbestos is a non issue if you don’t make a living mining or grinding it. And no-one makes a living grinding exhaust gaskets.

A neat thing you may not know is the phrase “Long time no see!” with its strange syntax is actually a Chinese phrase directly translated into English, how jiao bu jian which is word for word “long time, no see.”

One of the reasons I love you Nards. You’re far, far removed from idiocy.
