Arnolds Advice to Zach Braff

Braff has starred in major motion pictures, has wrote, starred in and directed an independent film that won numerous awards, and has made millions starring in a TV series that has been on for 8 seasons, so I think he might just be working hard and achieving his goals.

The body that Brad Pitt has is ideal for just about any role in film other then superhero, i mean, the guy played a Gladiator by adding 15 pounds of muscle and some hair extensions, so even if that isnt what a majority of people here strive for, its what would give him the best chance at the roles he may want.

He’s an actor, why the fuck would he want to look like a bodybuilder, I didnt’ expect to hear anything else but Brad Pitt or that Texan that does the movies with Kate Hudson and never wears a shirt in public.

Yes, Arnold made fun of him without him realizing it so he is coming off as a goober, but why fault the guy for a having a goal that is completely fine for who he is.

He got to fuck Mandy Moore too. Easily his best accomplishment.

Good post. Besides, if someone knows next to nothing about a particular activity and an icon in that field comes up and gives them some “advices” pertaining to it, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for that person to take it to heart, no matter how bizarre it may sound (and ridiculous to those of us “in the know”). Especially if the person delivers it the serious way Arnold has been known to.

And, honestly, I really don’t think Zach Braff is losing any sleep over his carrot intake. It just makes for a funny story.

A small part of me just died inside…

That was hilarious. As soon as he quoted Arnold asking him whose physique he most admired I thought, Oh, he’s gonna say Brad… and he did.

I agree with WS4JB. Braff is very successful in his chosen field and that is nothing to criticize. Being honest, how many people would find less appeal in lifting if everybody did it? I say this at the same time as I wish that everybody were a whole lot smarter in regard to exercise and nutrition, one feeling being selfish, the other generous, I guess.

Ok, well, you got me really good there, but not including Zach Braff, my previous statement is still a trend I see often.

Though, I should find out how he got Mandy Moore.

As a 15 year old kid you should be happy if you can ever achieve 1% of what Braff has achieved already. Don’t assume he got where he is by being lazy and unambitious. That’d be naive.

Not everyone wants to look a bodybuilder. I don’t think achieving the body Brad Pitt had in Fight Club is a terrible goal for the average guy. Especially one working in Hollywood where that kind of body is admired in films.

Mandy Moore once said in an interview that she likes “good Jewish boy(s)… with a sense of humor”.

Or is that cynical?

hell! when i first started lifting, i wanted a bpffc body too. but now my goals are much higher, and i would be getting some food in my body asap if i was that little. most people have no idea what they are getting into when they start lifting. i know i didnt.

Thanks for giving me hope Vadar

Surely the whole “I met Arnold,” story was a routine, a comedic piece probably made up??

Either way, Braff was still a wuss way before he ever did that segment.
Some guys are just born into wussdom, and never leave.

I thought it was made up when he started. But you could tell he didn’t even get the joke of Arnold saying eat carrots.

I think its legitimate.

I lol’d.

Arnold for President.

Yeah, that would suit Arnold’s sense of humour. Have you guys heard the story where he tells an up and coming bodybuilder to eat salt? He tells him to eat one tablespoon on the first day, two on the second, three on the third, and so on. Alegedly the guy lasted about three weeks before being horribly sick.
