Roland played him in Salvation. He was who they mapped the CGI Arnold onto.

Oh.
Obviously I didn’t see it.
Well, it’s worth seeing. I am just saying it isn’t one of those ‘must re-watch 500 times’ movies.

Yeah. What I meant was they should let him play the T-800 sans CGI.

Is it Blue ray worthy?
Buy or Rent?
Buy.
Nope in my opinion. Do you have Starz, HBO etc and a DVR?
Nice new avi by the way Double D, you look bigger.
lol. No, I don’t even have cable. I have rabbit ears and movies.
And thanks, I’m actually down in weight.
Then I would redbox it.
Are you still competing in PL?
What you dropping weight for?
Edit: Also Bale is just very limited scenes in this movie also, way more scenes of the Ausie. I think they fucked up by first 3/4 of movie its with the Ausie (forget his name) and then try to get you emotionally tied with Bales character at the end.
Shoot, I might have to load up the wagon and take a trip to town…
I haven’t competed in some time (I’ve only actually done 3 meets) life keeps getting in the way (meets getting canceled, getting roped into other events, est). Was dropping weight for a stair climb event. Now that’s over, but I’m going to keep going with it until I get to a more reasonable bodyfat. Only now I’m getting back into more of a powerlifting style training to get my max strength up and maybe get into a lower weight class and make a run at an elite total (in the SPF). Looking at a get the rust off meet in November. /highjack

Bale was originally asked to play the new terminator. In the first drafts of the script the John Connor role was even smaller. When Bale said he’d prefer to play John Connor they expanded the role.

So did he ask for that because he didnt want to die at the end?
Honestly, T5 will probably suck and I will probably go see it anyway because I enjoyed T1 and T2 and the rest of the series didn’t disgust me enough to ruin my appreciation for the series as a whole, however it was bad enough to set the bar pretty low for T5.
I must be the only one who thinks iron man sucked. extremely boring nd predictable
T3 >>>>iron man

I don’t think so. I just think he preferred to play JC. The original ending had JC die from his injuries and they transplanted Connor’s face on to Marcus’s body, so that they could fool everyone into believing Connor survived and the terminator died.
The twist being that the leader of the human resistance was -gasp!- a terminator.

I would have preferred that ending. I remember when we had that thread on here talking about it now that you bring it up.
I cant see them spending that much on this one and not doing another. Didnt it do will at the box office.

I’m not sure if they even filmed the alternate ending ( I can’t find it on Youtube)… It was ditched after the fanboys flipped out.
^fanboys do not a good movie make.
That ending would have been really interesting.

Based on most of the crap you usually post, this is no surprise.
lol

Meh
I wont pay to see this movie. If it is on HBO I will watch it. I agree after T3 they should of just quit while they are ahead.

Salvation ruined it for me because I didn’t want to see the future I knew it was going to be filled with all CGI and war which is much different from the previous movies.
The terminator series was horrible but I loved every second of it.
Star wars the complete saga on Blue-ray
FTW
And finally even if T5 is bad I am still going to go watch it.
