it’s relevant information about a tragic event, that’s why it’s being discussed. Murdering people because of a political bent is much different than murdering because of actual psychosis.
Gifford was shot from close range and according to Dr. Peter Rhee from University Medical Center in Tucson, the bullet went through Giffords’s brain, exiting from the other side of her head. Giffords is currently in critical care under anesthesia.
It will be miraculous if she does survive, either way how well could she possibly mentally function now?

More news. FOX is reporting that Giffords was the target, they don’t think the shooter acted alone and there is now a suspicious package at her offices.

I agree. I tried not to frame it in the context of stricter gun control. More wondering if it was provided to him, or if it was improperly stored at home. Reports were that he lived with his parents.
