Arizona Cardinals, WOW!

Alright, who besides fans in Arizona thought they could really beat Carolina, in Carolina? Cover the spread, maybe. Make Delhomme look like Brett on a bad day, not me that’s for sure.

Every expert I listened to on every sports show had them beating Arizona by that score. My hats off to them, and thanks for making the weak NFC West proud.

That’s when you lay big money on the other team.

Sadly, that’s how it goes. Fucking Panthers couldn’t win.

Sadly, I put the money I won on the Ravens on the Panthers. Also it seemed that Carolina didn’t know how good Fitzgerald was until the 2nd half.

Exactly. But did not see that coming at all. Now every damn talking head in sports is going to be talking about the Cardinals for seven days.

trust me when I say, even us cards fans out here in the desert are surprised.

Yeah, but they’re hot right now. It’s like I was telling my dad the other day, how strange would it be to see an Arizona/San Diego Super Bowl?

Warner put on a clinic last night, that’s for sure. Wow.

In any case, that’s 1 of 2 things I wanted to happen. Now, if Philly can put the Giants down, we can have a rematch of 1947 (Chicago Cards beat Philly)

if the cardinals make the superbowl, it could be one of the worst superbowls in history.

When the Cards made my Falcons look like a bad college team I thought we just played really bad and the Cards got lucky to catch us on a bad day. After last nights whoopin’ on the Panties I believe the Cardinals are for real. Carolina was a strong team with a stud running game, AZ made them their bitch.

I’m just pissed that Delhomme cost my panthers ANOTHER game in his career here. He almost cost us the Tampa Bay game where Williams and Stewart had 299 rushing yards (delhomme threw 2 INTS when you have the most IDEAL situation of running the ball every play). Granted I’m not taking anything away from Arizona (they kicked our asses last night no questions asked there) and hope they go all the way but Delhomme cost Carolina any chance of coming back in the game, but it wasn’t all him, our defense couldn’t stop Fitzgerald(8 catches for a freakin 166 yards jesus christ)

I live in Charlotte…That sucked monkey balls…I swear Jake had money on the Cardinals LOL

Fitz had 151 yards and a TD at the half!! Imagine if Boldin was with him.
Which team does Arizona match up with better, NY or Philly? I know they want Philly so they can host the game, but Philly’s blitz packages match up well with them.

People forget that Kurt is a two-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl winner. He must be doing something right.

Luckily I bet going with the Cards with people trying to sucker bet me, cunnively getting them give me a great spread along with 2 for 1. Cannot wait to see my big money tommorrow.

The Cards prefer a Philly match-up as first advantage is a home game. They played them once already this year, more familiarity.

Plus McNabb cannot win the big one or always chokes away big games. They have no great receivers.

Warner will not let them settle for just this.

Since they’re my division rivals I really despise the Cards but I’m kinda rooting for them. To have never won a super bowl in your team history has gotta suck pretty bad. The Cardinals have been the symbol of futility and overall “suck” since their beginning. Its about time they start winning something.

Plus it would be nice to hear about another old QB that ISNT washed up. Favre-gate is getting old. To me, Kurt Warner can make all the throws Favre can. Warner actually has better decision making skills IMO.

The Cards remind me of the Tampa Bay Rays this past year. The Rays played above their ability against the white sox and red sox and were subsequently dealt a dose of reality by the Phillies. Cards fans, your dose of reality is coming next week. Defense wins championships. Not 38 year old qbs and superstar wide receivers.

Welcome to my world…

Great performance by the Cards, particularly Warner and Fitzgerald. Warner looks like the winner of old, and Fitzgerald is playing out of his mind.

Only caveat is that Delhomme has a reputation of melting down at times, and while I give the Cards credit for playing well, he made the defense look better than it really is.

That isn’t to say Arizona isn’t for real - and, in fact, I am rooting for them to beat Philly.

I think the AZ/PHI game will be much more about Philly’s offense overcoming themselves and scoring against AZ’s defense.

I have faith in the Philly defense keeping Warner & Co. at bay-- it’s the offense that kills Philly.
