I guess I thought the reason you lose weight on low/high carb diet is because of the low carbs not the calories. I had it wrong lol

Well, it’s a combination of the two things. Think about it, if you ate 10,000 cals a day, but none from carbs, do you think you would lose weight? I know it’s obviously ridiculous, but sometimes you need to look at the extreme example to get any sense from all the confusing advice out there
