I’m still growing damnit!..I’ll post my height when I turn 30
I think there have been maybe 2 (2 aunts, those that married into the family) people in the past 3 generations that have been under 5’9. Even the girls are all tall as hell. At 6’2 I’m the shortest male in the family. Uncles are 6’3, 6’4 and 6’6 dad is 6’4, bro is 6’4, grandpa was 6’2. I have a feeling my brother or I will give birth to a 7 footer.

Dads 5’9 or 5’10, Mums 5’4, Im 6ft and a bit. So is my brother.
My uncles are 5’8 and 5’9. I just hope someday my kids arnt small (under 6 foot)
not sure how genetics work but don’t they work within frames… so your genetic potential lies between point A and point B, lifestyle determines where you will be??
It is mostly genetic but can also be influenced by your environment.
Food, especially, is an important factor.
Dad is 6’1’’ and mom is 5’ 10’‘. I’m 6’8’'. I’m the tallest in my entire extended family.
There’s probably someone further up your family tree that was tall. My dad said my great-grandmother was over 6 feet, so I probably get it from his side of the family.

Anyway, I’m 6’0, my mom is 5’2, and my dad is 5’6.
My uncles on both sides are under 5"6.
Grandparents are tiny and so is my gf (5’4)
But my daughter is 2 years old, and over 3 feet tall… Genetics my ass.
The way I understand it:
Mom and dad have a range of tallness genes. Call them ABCD. These genes come in tall and short and the combination you get determines your height. Capital letters mean tall and small letters mean small. (just for demonstration purposes)
dad is average height and has ABcd while mom (also average height) has abCD
You could end up with tall AB from dad and tall CD from mom and be one tall motherfucker.
as long as you get proper nutrition.
In reality there is probably a much greater number of genes contributing to height so you can get a more even (more nuanced?) distribution of heights in a family.
I’m 6’, mom is 5’4 and dad is 5’7. Grandfathers about 5’9" and grandmothers 5’3 and 5’7. Both my moms brothers and most of her uncles were over 6’, I guess thats where it came from.

Mums dad was 6ft2 and her brothers are in the over 6ft club so id say its logical that i get my tall gene from my mum even know she is short herself.

my dad is 5’11 and so is my older bro. im 6’0 and so is my twin bro. lol. As far as girls liking tall guys…i know girls who dated guys just because they were tall, the hottest one…also a total air head but nice had a crush on me for a while lol.
She is about 5’3 and loved to run up and hug me…half the time I didn’t see her coming till something knocked the wind out of me lawl. to be fair…hot…but it was like talking to a brick wall and I was never really interested in her because of it.
Ive also had girls Ive just met ask to hug me because they like tall guys o.0
