Im about to do my 3rd injection (100mg a week) and will have follow up blood work in a few weeks to see where my T/E2 levels are. I picked up some ldex to have on hand in case of any e2 flare ups but then again how would I know unless I start getting gyno?
Nipples seem fine, not overly sensitive. My erections have been getting better, then again its only 2 weeks into my treatment.
So the question to you guys out there doing TRT now, how many are using an AI with your therapy?
I personally plan on waiting until after my lab work, the sticky recommends starting an Ai right away, 1mg a week per 100mg of test.
I am gaining some water (unless its some muscle), this past week my weight went up 2 lbs but my waist still dropped .25". Been measuring weight and waist for the past 40 days. Only been 2 weeks on TRT though.
Diet has been really clean, 2k cals a day 40/40/20 macro split. Lifting 4 days a week. Lots of cardio.
My nipples have been fine even with my E2 at 95!
Do you know what your E2 is?
Mine on the last bloods was 65 which is a little high.
I have a-Dex but I’m trying to hold off on it unless I have to.
I hate putting drugs in the body.
Im waiting for my next set of labs in 3 weeks.
When I was on gels my E2 was very high, its improved greatly since going on the pellets
Not yet, getting blood done in a few weeks. Im only doing 100mg T cyp a week but not sure how sensitive I am to it yet. I did put on some water weight this week.
Most people will not get gyno at TRT levels of test, so your concerns are mostly unfounded. That said, letro isn’t going to do much if gyno does pop up–you need a SERM because at that point, an AI is not strong enough to do anything.
Stickeys recommend AI right out the gate–I do not agree with the stickey (as I indicated in the stickey). Others may disagree, but I have seen some guys not need it and better to not put drugs into your body unnecessarily. Also, many guys were alienating their doctors requesting too much stuff out the gate. Better to deal in baby steps. Guys were literally refusing treatment because they couldn’t get the magical T-Nation protocol on Day 1…Test is the big player, AI and HCG are role players.
Wait until your blood test (6 weeks or so after you begin test) and see where things are at. Don’t monkey around with stuff before then.

Thats the plan. No point in messing around until I know how the T is working. Just curious how many people are doing AI with their TRT.
I understand the need to do HCG but an AI seems like it would depend more on the person and how they react to T.
