Anybody tried it? I don’t see any reason it’d be unsafe to take long term if it’s exclusively derived from sugar.
Heh, I’m drinking a shake I made with it right now. It tastes like normal sugar, has the non-fermenting qualities of xylitol without the GI upset at higher doses so far as I can tell, and it has a low GI.
I don’t think it’s particularly magical but I’d choose it over most of the other sweeteners out there for most circumstances.
