dude i wwent to midtown village last night and itwas INSANE. 3 bars/clubs by 11pm already weren’t letting anyone else inside. sidewalk was so packed i had to walk around into the street for the most part. the entire patio of ‘the swamp’ was shoulder to shoulder.
ha i didnt realize graduation was this weekend when i made my initial post, so i naturally underestimated what was gonna be happening. did u make it inside anywhere?

yeah man. XS, gator stomp, and swamp?
UF girls are HOT! although i’m surprised how many of the dudes here want to post up against you (opposed to UoAlabama). hell, trying to make my way to the bar instigated almost 5 fights.
but yeah man, midtown village is an awesome place to party. really easy to find girls to dance with.
drinks are fucking EXPENSIVE. granted i’m used to drinking on an employee tab, but two rum and cokes for 13 bucks? shit dude.
glad you had a good time man. drinks are usually cheap at midtown thats surprising…downtown is where they think theyre running south beach style clubs and charge a fortune lol. they couldve taken advantage of graduation and upped the prices, bars always do that on big weekends.
and yeah…maneuvering through the bars is really tough. even girls will start shoving and stuff if you step on their foot or something lol

You’re in luck…many places are only $5 (or free) to get in.
If you’re going out tonight, then go to Marketstreet for 80’s night. It’s $5 cover and has a 21+ crowd.
If you prefer Booty dancing, then check out Rue Bar or Bar 1 downtown or stick to midtown and check out XS (next to the dive bars and across from the UF Stadium). I think they are all 18+.
For restuarants, I highly recommend Emiliano’s Cafe downtown for some good cuban food:
There is also Leonardo’s 706 very close to downtown:
Or if you want to stick around the midtown area, check out The Swamp:
Or right behind the swamp is Cafe Gardens.
You can PM me if you get this, and I’ll give you my cell number. I’m going to see the Wolverine movie tonight, and we have plans to see the Ragtime Musical tomorrow, but I’ll have time before or after both of those to meet up with you.
