Peter Schiff was the economic advisor to the Ron Paul campaign. I’m working on his book “Crash Proof” about the state of the U.S. economy and it’s gold. Every line destroys the propaganda fed to us by the government, mainstream media, and Wall Street. It also contains a lot of sound financial advice for those who wish to prepare for a the major economic downturn to come. Schiff wrote the book in early 2006 and predicted everything that’s happening right now with oil, the housing market, bank failures, etc. This guy really has his shit together and everyone who spends time arguing about the economy on Internet forums should take the time to read this book. Even someone with minimal background in economics can understand this stuff; the reason mainstream economists don’t get it is because they’re indoctrinated by the mainsteam paradigm and heavily invested in the status quo.
