For the past 5 years I’ve tried everything to lower my SHBG, it’s always 60 - 80 nmol/L. Total T is always 800 - 900 ng/dL and Free hovers around 8-10 pg/mL, but most recent was 7 (so under the reference range and flagged as low). Estradiol was flagged as low <5 pg/mL. Has always been around 12, but this most recent lab was <5. I feel like I’m out of options here (boron, tongkat, high carb, lower training volume, etc.) none of that made a difference. Feel like trash all day, no energy, boners suck, lost so much muscle over the years despite being “dialed” in. Curious if anyone was in the same position and decided to go on TRT and saw benefits.
I would ask your Dr. about Mesterolone.

I had pretty high SHBG too at 56. My TT was still lower range and my FT was 4.4 on your same ranges a you appear to be using Labcorp units. Also, over time TRT tends to lower SHBG. Anyway, I digress, I think with those FT numbers you have a strong chance of resolving low T symptoms with a proper TRT protocol.
It’s available via script for hypogonadism, no?
