Anyone Gone from EOD to Daily Injections? Feel Any Different?

Im Currently on 30 mg test cyp every other day, and I’ve noticed that on my injection day I feel off. Just got blood work done, I’m assuming my SHBG is super low because since I got on TRT around a year ago it’s gone from 80 n/mol to 45 n/mol to 35 n/mol to 29 n/mol. So I’m assuming it’s even lower now. If my SHBG comes back below range, then I’m assuming that this is the reason why I’m feeling good every other day and bad in between those days.

Just curious, has anyone gone from eod to daily injections? Do you feel any difference ?

I would expect you’ll get many differing responses. Personally, I’ve used weekly, twice weekly and three times weekly schedules and noticed no difference.

With my patients, every one of them who gets on the internet and comes up with the idea of trying every day dosing (I’m very flexible, makes no difference to me how many time a week they want to stick themselves) has not stayed with it. They all go back to once or twice weekly injections.

Nah, more likely you’ll feel better due to the increased free testosterone.

My experience as well. Tried all the protocols. I settled on weekly for convenience.

Im on dailies and Im switching to EOD since Im already settled in. Switching it up doesnt make much of a difference anymore. It did in the first year.

I think it’s more of an effect when you change from sub q to im or vice versa compared to frequency

Just curious what made u go to dailies? Also what is your shbg?

I’m currently doing daily. I’ve done EOD, and also 2x per week. I can’t say I’ve felt a difference with any of these approaches. Therefore, thinking about going back to 2x per week. I originally switched to daily because if I remember correctly, I was advised to because of my high SHBG (I could be remembering wrong). I still get lumps if I inject a smaller amount sub q, so I’ve been doing daily IM. Will likely switch to 2x per week once my smaller syringes are out.

I used to be 2x a week, but I felt flat and instead of increasing my dose I went straight to dailies and I noticed a difference. Its been a little over a year since, I made the switch. EOD is starting to feel a little more my pace. SHBG was 23 when I started, it sits at 16 since last labs in Feb.

is lower shbg good and higher shbg bad?

Lower SHBG has been associated with increased incidence of type 2 diabetes. In terms of insulin sensitivity, high SHBG is good.

Lower SHBG means increased free testosterone. Higher sex hormone binding globulin means lower free testosterone.

Best of both worlds, high total testosterone and higher SHBG.
