It seems as I am growing. I am having a hard time with ventro glute shots. I would need to be a contorsionist to give myself a glute shot. I just cannot twist like that and my lats seemto keep my arm from going back. How the hell do those big guys even wipe there A$$. Thats getting to be a struggle also. I am only 5’9" 195lbs and not fat but WTF about those 250lbers at my height.
Youre just completely inflexible. That’s your problem. Fix it.
BTW you dont sound cool at all even hinting that youre running into problems reaching ANYWHERE on your body, let alone your own ass, at 195 whopping pounds.
Wasnt trying to sound cool Bone, but I must say I am impressed that you are a internet tough guy. “Bows to you”. WTF? I did say only 195lbs but I know you feel better know ripping me. Anyway as HUUUUGE as you are, I suppose you have no problems reaching behind your back? “Bows in humility for a answer”.
I have to edit. I need two hands for the ventro glute shot. The arm that reaches over from the opposite side hardly reaches the ventro, so I dont have any idea how a guy could two hand a glute shot. I am not completely unflexible as Bone says, I can get my torso 90deg to my side.
Anyone have any tricks for ventro and glute shots. Or do you guys just pin one handed.
How is it possible for a human being to not be able to touch his right hip bone with his left hand. Its baffling me.
I’m not trying to sound tough. I think you have a genuine problem.
I dont know how its possible, I can touch my right hip bone with opposite hand. Its just tight and my left pec kinda cramps up when I do it. My thought was how do these big guys with a huge chest and arms crank that arm over?
Both glute and ventro glute are single hand shots for me, using a mirror for guidance.
Adapt.

How do you asperate with one hand? I am using those insul syringes.
He doesn’t aspirate!
Is this something new not to aspirate?
Apparently I’m a bit mad, but since aspirating solves nothing, I don’t do it.
Lets look at the evidence/dogma:
“If you aspirate you’ll know whether you hit a vein”. Wrong. I and others have often aspirated, seen no blood yet had the cough (i.e. hit a vein) when they injected.
“If you inject into a vein, you might die from an oil embolism”. Wrong. Study the physiology. OK, maybe a solid 3ml of oil-based prep might cause some flow-towards-the-heart issues, but nothing that a bit of self-massage couldn’t sort out.
Oil is not air and therefore won’t trigger the fibrinogen/clotting cascade so you won’t need to worry about that, like you might from an air injection.
My conclusion: there is no advantage to be gained from aspirating. If anyone wants/needs to blowe me out of the water, give it your best shot ![]()
