Anyone on board here from that area?
My family and I just moved here to start a youth outreach and was wondering who might be familiar with the area.
Plus I need a couple 45 lb plates for cheap. Walmart plates cost about a dollar a pound and I can’t seem to find any around any cheaper…

Not in the least. I couldn’t believe it myself. But sure enough downtown they’ve got em. If you check the link it shows one on the right side of the pick. And that isn’t there just because of the UFO museum either…

I went to graduate school in Socorro. The whole state has a bit of the UFO culture.
Incidentally, the movie “Contact” (Jodi Foster) was filmed near Socorro where they run the VLA (satellites).
Question-- Red or Green?
