Anybody know any concert dates and locations of when Armin or Tiesto are coming to the states?
Why in the name of the Gods of Bodybuilding would ANYBODY want to go see Dj Suckso?
Erm, there’s a reason Tiesto was voted No.1 DJ for many years in a row.
He is great live - as are many others in the same genre.[/quote]
There is a reason he is so ‘good’
Commercial sucess doesn’t mean somebody is good in my opinion.
Tiesto has very few good tracks, everybody knows his sets have gone downhill BIGTIME in the last few years.
Hell, Tiesto doesn’t even make ANY of his tracks. He gets other producers to make them and pays them to put his name on it. Eg. BT
that Benny Bannasi song, I Love My Sex is sick. i was playing it last night at this little get together and next thing you know everyone is taking off their clothes doing the robot or some crazy shit
it is a bland music to listen to when you are studying or drowning out the arguing of your parents. bebop jazz too. another use of trance is to mutilate popular hip hop and pop songs into a diluted version of itself. the constant thumping gets maddening. if an electronic song is catchy at all then it is created by a guy that will talk over the music, thus creating hip hop. after this all he has to do is pose and act tough and then collect his money

If you like trance I am a big fan of Sander Van Doorne. Also DeadMau5 is pretty good live.
I am not much of trancehead, more of House and tech-house and Electro kinda guy. I also spin and produce too. So you tend go with what you know.
Toronto’s scene is doing pretty good still. The Guvernment Entertainment Complex is not bad. This is London and Circa Night Club. All do really well.
But I must admit that trance is really good in your headphones after your push out some heavy squats. Either that or some really hard funky tech-house.
Ive had many good nights at the Guvernment when I used to live in Ontario. A few memorable at the docks as well. Was about a 3 hour drive for us, but still made the trip quite regularly.
Sander was supposed to be doing a bunch of shows here in Alberta in the near future but they were cancelled as he is taking some stress relief time.
Ferry Corsten is still coming around and I may catch that one on the 6th of July.

Yeah the Guv is around a 2.5 …well if you don’t speed drive away. Nothing better then getting out at 7am in the morning and seeing Redpath and the CN tower. You put on your shades and hope you make it home without passing out on the freeway.

Wow I didn’t think anyone would remember The Launch from DJ Jean. Its old school trance, but still very good. People used to go nuts when it came on in Club Rubber in Orange County, or Pimp N Ho in Vegas. Great stuff Iron_Siren.
