stopped smoking. stopped overeating. etc.

what would happen to a socialized healthcare system if all the people in the world were suddenly aadopting an healthy lifestyle ?

which system is objectively interested in actually promoting health and developping preventative medecine(s) ?
When people have to pay for their own health care they will take better care of themselves. When there are fewer obese people the health care industry will adapt.

When the government (or third party provider) pays the bills people don’t care about the cost.

When the government is in charge and budgets for 10,000 amputations a year and only does 5000 through November, don’t see a doctor for a headache in December.
funny you should use this argument:) its sounds logic, but it lacks any empiric proof to back it up. and here is why: Usa did have a privat healthcaresystem untill obama came around and made it semi-public. Usas population are on average fatter than then population of western europa. And western europa do have public healthcare. wouldt it be tempting to conclude based on this that countrys with a public healthcare = healthier population.

just a thougt.
