"Fisker’s top investors include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a veteran Silicon Valley venture-capital firm of which Gore is a partner. Employees of KPCB have donated more than $2.2 million to political campaigns, mostly for Democrats, including President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks campaign contributions. My points are based on FACT not “DEMAGOUGED theory”, if anything your statements are your desires and prejudice. Please provide facts and logic on how my rational is flawed? Also please back up your statement about Wall Street pillaging, the companies are not defunct because stocks were shorted to $0.

Do I understand you correctly , that you do not believe that Wall Street is corrupt, and if Government money is available that the predatory nature of Wall Street is to pillage it.
I do not believe any one here proves anything and if these boards are good at anything it is to demagogue everything, that is what this board considers wit .
This is just one of many cases of political hookups and kickbacks.
The Green Energy movement is dead, it nearly killed some European economies, so much to the point that they ditched the whole thing. Take a lesson from the Socialists Mr. Obummer, they figured it out already that it doesn’t work.
This is not Wall Street corruption this is Government corruption. You keep saying Wall Street, I guess you mean government crony companies when you say “Wall Street”. Yes government cronies are corrupt, the street encompasses much more than just gov cronies, so no Wall Street is not corrupt but the government sure is.

?The White House has repeatedly stated that no political influence was brought to bear with regard to Solyndra, and that Mr. George Kaiser, a Solyndra investor and Obama fundraiser, never discussed Solyndra during any of his seventeen visits to the White House,? they write. ?Documents recently obtained by the Committee directly contradict those statements.?

Your right , but they are in bed together

pittbull, Wall Street is not a damn monolith. It does not act with singular solidarity and purpose. There are many companys, many banks, many investment firms. Yes, it’s corrupt. And yes gov’t is damn corrupt. But then so is EVERYBODY poor or rich. And “wallstreet” is not in collusion with the gov’t. PARTS of wallstreet are in collusion. Other parts of wallstreet are acting in opposing direction, and other parts are colluding in the opposite lobbys.
It is distinctly possible for Wallstreet NOT to profit off of a gov’t action or its resulting actions on an individual company. Sometimes parts of wallstreet can, and sometimes they don’t.
For the record, the only one I see profiting from this is Solyndra. However, they do not constitute “Wallstreet” as a whole. Nor are they even but a smudge on the radar of the rest of the companies.

Ouch! CBS, again! They’ve been going after Fast and Furious, but are now looking at the crony-green-capitalism of the Obama administration.
