Thinking about incorporating some bicep work into 5/3/1. Have any of you done this? If so how? I am on a M,T,TH,F.
I was thinking about doing it on Deadlift and Squat day or just adding Wednesday for Biceps and Calfs.

i am going to start 5/3/1 for my bench press. i bench on tuesdays so july 13 will be the first day.

Basically, I just toss in bicep work when I remember. The day doesn’t really matter. It’s such a small muscle.
did week 3 of bench presses using 5/3/1 today. on the 3rd set i did 250x2 which is a pr.

Add in a couple of sets after the upper days.

I did a modified CT program which you can still see in his thread. Could not make IB fit in my old man family/schedule right now.
5/3/1 for 2.5 months added 10 lbs of muscle lost 2 pound of fat, verified by Bod Pod.
Starting fourth week of new program, feeling strong and seem to be a bit leaner. Need to EAT more!

PS: My last Pin Bench Press was 255 for 5 in the sixth set, Romainian DL was 365 for 5 in the sixth set, love getting stronger.
