I think most people are aware that those who torture animals like this are likely to turn into very bad people later in life. Many serial killers have a history of animal cruelty.
I think they should at the least be detained away from the public and receive lots of counselling. Or the easy option is that they can be left in a room, and I can enter the room with 2 rounds in a pistol. I can’t stand cruelty to animals.
I have owned a stud dog since he was a puppy. What could a 5 month old dog possibly do to deserve being cooked to death in an oven? Seriously, what would possess someone to do such a thing? There must be deeper issues with these two. They better get a full psychiatric evaluation before they are further tried. There is a possibility that someone like this will develop into a serial killer.
I’m not one of those PETA freaks or an animal cruelty activist, but this is just sick.
there are 6 billion people on this earth, do we really need these two alive?
there can be no possible motive to even contemplate doing something like that to a puppy.
there should be a system in place where people like this who think they are tough-shit get put into a cage with some who really is tough-shit… and angry. i’m sure some of the peopel reading this would fit the bill.

+1. People like this anger me like nothing else. If you don’t contain enough emotional balance, respect and dignity to restrain yourself from injuring and killing harmless animals, you don’t deserve to continue living in normal society.
A 5 month old puppy has no idea why it’s being tortured, cannot understand what is causing this pain, and has no means to defend itself. Acts against animals should be treated just as acts against humans are, if not more harsh due to the reasons above.
I remember when I was young, maybe 8, when I heard about two 20-ish age guys who let a pair of pit bulls repeatedly attack some defenseless dog, and then threw battery acid on it.
There’s some things you hear/see when you’re young that are just burned into your mind. I’ll never forget hearing about that for as long as I live, it infuriated me so much.
I could kill somebody guilty of animal cruelty without blinking an eye.
As a member of People for the Eating of Tasty Animals I grew up on a farm, we raised and killed most of our own meat. What we didn’t raise, we hunted. I’ve killed cleaned and eaten my share of animals. This is always done quite humanely.
These guys that baked the dog to death deserve whatever bad thing happens to them. There is no excuse or reason for that. Just pure inexcusable curelty. Put them away now because they are future serial killers.
What about kids who burn insects with a magnifying glass? How many kids have put firecrackers in a frog’s mouth? Are we being harder on them because puppies are cute?
I definitely think what these kids did was wrong…but it annoys me when people get so worked up when a “cute” animal is hurt versus an uglier one.
I’m an animal lover and have rescued many dogs and cats over the years. I live in Atlanta near where this horrible act took place. Unfortunately this is not an isolated incident. Among others, there was a incident that made the news last year involving someone tying up a dog to a tree and shooting him and leaving him for dead. The dog (his name is Normal) survived but needed a lot of surgery. I don’t know if it’s living in the South or if people are just becoming meaner.
It would be easy to seek revenge against these people annonymously, but I believe in karma or “in what goes around comes around.” And I believe that these guys will eventually get what’s coming to them
Didn’t read the article, stuff like that is just too much sometime. We live in a brutal world.
LOL. I just had a funny idea. Tie them to a squat bar, load Jeff Lewis’ record + 15 lbs, crank the monolift back… We’d have to give them a lift off of course, but it would be amazing to see if they could squat big.
I hate to see animals tortured or hurt unneccesarily (sp?). I love meat and leather and all that good stuff, but I prefer everything to be killed humanely and without waste. To be honest, I’m a dog lover but the idea of eating dogs doesn’t make me mad. It is the torturing or needless death of them that makes my blood boil. Same thing with a cow… Or any animal for that matter.
