Andropause-Advice on an Endocrinologist?

I was diagnosed with andropause a couple years ago. Do you guys know how hard it is to tell some outta shape old Doc that I have 22 inch arms, 32 inch quads, and low T? So I’ve had a tough time getting my levels right and by my Doc’s own admission he’s outta his league. He wants me to see an endocrinologist so I’m looking for a recommendation. Does anyone know an endocrinologist in Arkansas who wont assume I wanna be Ronnie Coleman? If not any advice on finding one?

Check out the over 35 forum.
They’ll be able to help you.

Thanks I wasn’t sure what the best place to post it was. I thought you guys might be the most knowledgeable about what AAS a doc could prescribe without some extraordinary circumstance like AIDs wasting.

theres a difference between what we talk about here (performance enhancment) and what they talk about on the over 35 forums (trt and anti aging)
I would think you are wanting the latter,

but you are more than welcome to read up all you want in both forums, alot of us travel over there from time to time to get info, they are some really smart guys over there.

Thanks

Generally,

If you find a good doc, they will prescribe a form of testosterone. Topical creams, depot shots, patches, implants are all fairly common.

Ideal scenario would be an injectible at 100mg per week in a divided dose to maintain stable levels. In the U.S cypionate or enanthate appear to be pretty standard fair. Other countries may favour blended products.

In addition to the testosterone additional HCG and arimidex may be preferable to

  1. Preferably stimulate the conversion of Cholesterol to pregnenolone, achieving a more normal hormonal balance

  2. prevent aromatisation to estrogen.

For optimal results you will need consistent blood work to monitor the efficacy of the protocols, and make necessary tweaks
