How in the world did we manage to become the dominant species on this planet? What utter stupidity.
Yeah well, you have to remember that about 95% of the population would not survive one week under the conditions we evolved to fit.
Hell, there are parts of some of the most ‘progressive’ and ‘free’ cities in the West where your life expectancy at birth is just as long as if civilization had never existed.

PS - the sky did not fall, and the sun still rose this morning.
Obama tried this apocalyptic bullshit too, the people are waking up.
Max, your read on the mayoral election?
We have a runoff between the two candidates with the highest percentage of votes, since no one got more than 50% of the vote. Both (Eric Garcetti and Wendy Gruel) are both sold out to the Unions. The way I see it, the people are fucked, with the probable filing for bankruptcy by next year.
The defeat of an increase in sales tax shows me one thing. Even among tax-happy Democrats, no one will willingly tax themselves. Not even “raise my taxes” Liberals. This tax was beaten down BADLY.
As surprised as I am that they are turning on the GodKing here, I’m not surpirsed that they boiled down Paul’s show to make the lone Dem the god damn hero…

Breitbart was right.
It’s a damn good quote though.
Sure, and hats off to that dude, he has integrity. Point being Paul asked that same question, and had good quotes as well.
Paul speaks for hours, and is ignored, this jackwagon then takes the one Herocrat that has the same balls he had when Bush was POTUS and makes him out to be the hero.
While the quote is good, the media is a total shit show. But don’t worry any viable GOP new comer is just window dressing unless he fits the neat sterotype pushed by the left.

If Bush (or any Republican) were trying to pull this “drone a citizen” bullshit, the Left and the media would spill their soy lattes all over themselves.
In other news, 2,000 plus kids will not get vaccines in MD due to sequester. They would have under the President’s budget cut proposal, which was almost double the sequester cuts…what??

I think at this point most Americans with any common sense know the media is full of shit.
Edit:
All I mean is, if it opens a few eyes, I don’t care who gets the credit. Paul is being praised on plenty of outlets, just not most of the main stream garbage outlets.

All those knives do is give you a paper cut. If I am on a plane and someone pulls something out, yells abu islam, and I will be kicking his or her ass and then putting their head through one of those small windows using their body to plug the hole.
No more sitting down letting people hijack a plane anymore. Lets Roll!!!

She starts off well;
I am stupefied that the Transportation Security Administration will soon permit passengers to carry some small knives on airplanes, especially since the process that turns checkpoints into maddening logjams – removing shoes, liquids and computers – remains unchanged.
And I admit to also being baffled about why it’s okay to allow someone to bring a pool cue on the plane, but a cork screw gets confiscated. But you’re right the overall tone of being scared of a 2" knife is definitely there and seems pretty whiny.

Ya, the author and flight attendants are acting like the TSA is letting folks carry their swords on board. It’s just absurd to me.
