...and in Economic News

I see that China joined the SDR which was predicted by one invidiual in particular I’ve followed and the fed has raised rates.

Anybody know what the absolute minimum rate increase the fed can do is?

Can they type in any number or is there like increments they are restricted to?

I don’t expect many comments on this. I’m still trying to catch up on what people are saying about the implications of China effecting providing a proportion of the world’s reserve currency.

Fed can raise or lower any amount they want however they almost always move in 25bp increments, or in amounts divisible by 25bps.

The move to include the Yuan into the basket of SDRs is largely ceremonial.
