So I am on my 11th day of the anabolic diet, and according to scale weight I still weigh the same. I am also on my 11th day of lifting.
207lb, 6 feet,
Macros = 60f/35p/5c
Working out 4 days a week, about 45-1hour of lifting, followed by 15mins of HIIT cycle after lifting. Rest Wed, Sat, Sun (could add steady state cardio 30 mins these days?)
Anyway, I am down with being patient and am feeling pretty good actually considering the low carbs. But when should I consider calorie/workout adjustments if the fat doesn’t start dropping off soon?

Should you not eat more calories? Plus Dr mauro suggests not to work out to heavy on the induction phase. Nice program by the way, excel? If you downloaded it from where:D?

Plus it seems to me your are low in fat. Where is the butter,olive oil etc etc. Normally you need to give it at least a month before you start to adjust the diet to your wishes.
I built my equations custom into excel. I just add another line whenever I add a new food etc. I would be happy to email you mine for you to alter if you like.
In regards to calories, I don’t have a lot of faith in the maintenance estimates I get online. It seems extremely high in calories…could not eating enough calories make me not lose weight? I feel full all day long.
I am getting 60% of my calories from fat, which I get mostly from bacon, eggs, cheese, and hamburger meet.
I am fine with sticking out where I am at right now for 2+ more weeks. I am feeling pretty good and not worried about cracking. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing something terribly wrong that I could fix earlier on.
LOL youre not on the AD, youre on the get shredded diet. the AD induction is 18x bw for calories. 65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs. up the calories to 3000 bare MINIMUM.

Ya, fair enough. It is kind of a mix I guess. BUT, if I don’t think I could handle 3,0000+ calories a day, I would get fat as shit. [/quote]
Read the book. During the induction phase don’t count calories. Eat until you’re full. You should fall around 60-65% fat. Drink a shit-ton of water.

I haven’t been hungry at all. In fact, when I eat, I feel like I need to force myself. This is new to me. If i am eating til I am full, is that all good then?

It’s good that you don’t feel like shit. Don’t worry about micro managing calories until you’re fat adapted. Most would say after the induction, but I would give it a month or 2. During this time focus on what your body is telling you. Eat when you’re hungry, lift heavy, observe what happens. Notice when certain foods give you energy. Notice the week after a carb-load (i.e. if you feel like shit after having a pizza full weekend don’t do it again… try pasta… see what happens… try rice). If you feel f*cking awesome, look good, and lift more; do it again. Keep an idea of how much you’re eating but don’t plan it. Then when you’re ready to start dialing it in, you’ll how know your body reacts to certain food/quantities.
That is if you ever decide to count. An easier way would be to adjust your weekly quantities. For instance: if you ate 15lbs of chicken, 10lbs of beef and 35 eggs and didn’t loose any weight adjust the next week to 14lbs of chicken 10lbs of beef and a couple less eggs… then observe.

Watch consuming too much bacon. The normal shit I would eat more than once a week. If you get the uncured, no nitrate bacon it’s not an issue.
