…no, not in the bedroom…only my wife can answer that.
I was just wondering how many supplements everyone takes in one day? I was just admiring the fullness of my “Supplement Locker,” which rivals the local Vitamin Shop, and said to myself, “Wow!, I got a lot of stuff.”
So here is what I take every day:
Low Carb Grow: 7 scoops through the day
Surge: 2 scoops on workout days
Hot Rox: twice per day
Animal Pak: 2 packs a day
Mag 10: 12 per day
Tribex: twice per day agfer Mag-10
M: 1 per day after Mag-10
V12: twice per day
Udo’s Choice: 2 tblspns per day
Vitamin C: 500 mgs 3 per day
Vitamin E: 400iu 2 per day
Fish Oil Caps: 3 times per day
ZMA: Once per day
and one Tri-O-plex bar per day
I think that if my supplement budget exceeded my real food budget, then i’d want to eat a little more real food. You could probably pay off a house with the money you’re spending on supps. Why don’t you adopt me?
Grow: 6-9 scoops per day
Mega Men : 2 per day
Vitamin E Mixed Tocopherols: 2 400iu per day
Vitamin C Time Release 1000: 6 per day
B-complex 50: 1-2 per day
Tribex: 8 per day
M: 3 per day
Mag-10: 12 per day
Surge: 2.5 scoops PWO
Health From the Sun Ultra Omega 3: 4 tsp per day
Hot Rox: 4 per day
Peruvian Maca: 4 per day
Creatine: 5,10, or 20g per day
ZMA: 3 before bed
Boy I really dont have time to list them all right now. Ity would be easier to take a pic. lol ( I just might do that)
I just wanted to chime in and say that you are not a freak man. I am right up there with ya.
Actually right now going through PCT I have a feeling I am far surpassed the totals you posted. With all the anti. E’s, liver, kidney, etc. supps added, WOW its a load. LOL
It is amazing when you step back and really look at everything you pop a day.
I figured I would chime in here also.
Supplements;
1)almost empty tub of LC Grow
2)new tub of LC Grow
3)tub of creatine monohydrate
4)tub of Surge
5)tub of ON Whey
6)Hot Rox
7)Mega Men
8)Zinc
9)Vitamin C
and Red Bands and Alpha Male on the way
Holy crap! I’d love to see what your projected annual supplement budget is. Have you guys done this? Sometimes it helps put things in perspective. I look forward to seeing this.

I haven’t only because I don’t want to know - put as a quick figure I think it’s about $300-$400 every other month. But hey, I love it. Its healthy, it’s my hobby, and it my lifestyle.
Geezus - you guys take a lot of supplements!!! Who are you trying to impress??? I am not here to be judgemental - to each their own. But, a lot of you guys have literally thousands of dollars in supps that I really don’t think are necessary. I mean, there is a point of “deminshing returns” where you “might” get an ounce of lean beef, but it costs you $500 extra bones. You really don’t need that much, IF you are eating a balanced diet.
The main supp for most body builders should be protein. Many of the rest of the products you guys listed you can make at home or get from wholesome food (except the natural T boosters, like Tribus). The most effective post-recovery drink I have tried, for instance, is combining a high quality whey and pure dextrose. That’s it! It works wonders! Let’s face it - 99.9% of us will not turn pro… why spend like you are???
And, I’m not just talking out of my ass… I am an all natural body builder of about 215 pounds of LBM - I am very serious about my body! And I probably make more than the average guy in this sport, yet I refuse to have my kitchen/house look like a GNC! After all, 95% of that chain is a marketing gimick.
To answer your question - you are not a freak by buying all those supps, but in my humble opinon, you are a freak for spending so much dough! But, again… half of just about any sport is mental. The guy that think something works, while another disagrees are both correct! It’s mostly the difference in their bank accounts!
Protein + Veggies + Fruits + High-fiber all-natural carbs + High quality whey/egg/casein gets it done.
