Always Another Chance

I’ve been in wraps every couple weeks since you’ve been gone, I just can’t seem to wrap an X yet or I need stretchier wraps one of the two, I think I’ll order within the next couple weeks and what do you recommend for new knee wraps since I can’t seem to remember what you use. Saturday morning seems like the only feasible option for now, but I’d like to make it out atleast twice a week. Also for the SC wide or regular?

Now those are both hard questions… For knee wraps I like the titan THP wraps… That being said tons of people like the grippers and they are quite stretchy. I would be happy to sell you a pair as I have two and don’t much care for them. For the wide/regular… I personally really like the wide stance but I know that Dunn squats quite wide and wide the regular stance suit. I guess that is really up to you but I think that the wide stance was really easy to learn and would recommend it. We can work out specific training times when I get back home but I should be pretty flexible for sure. How are the knee wraps working for you btw?

Decided that with the short time I would still get in a lot of volume. Worked out OK hahah.

I enjoy the knee wraps, I find if I’m out of them more than 6 weeks, my knee health goes down. I think I might just get a few different type of wraps just to try. I like the true black but they’re discontinued and I’d like something a little bit more aggressive for when I wrap tighter than I currently do. I think a wide stance would better since when I screw up my walk out my feet are always too wide apart.

Interesting about the knee health… I found a similar thing actually. If we squat together I will bring my various wraps for you to try.

Considering I was jetlagged, am not used to knee wraps, and didn’t have my good squat shoes this is a pretty good start for nationals prep. On a sidenote, my old squat suit that used to take 10+min to crank on with suit slippers now slides on without slippers in like 30 seconds hahaha.

Very excited for what will happen to my bench over the next 8 weeks. I think I may see a big move in the bench as I get used to training on a decent setup and actually can hold the bar at the proper width.
