Alpha Male and RED KAT

Has anyone ever tried mixing RED KAT and Alpha Male? I read alot about people doing this with TRIBEX. I know Alpha Male has Eurycoma already but it doesn’t have Sclaremax. Does anyone know of there is any benefit to this?

I recieved a PM that this shouldn’t be done since it’s very easy to take too much of Biotest’s Eurycoma.

People mix Alpha Male and TRIBEX? I understand that that would add in the Avena Sativa that Alpha Male lacks, but wouldn’t it also jack up the tribulus intake too high?

If adding in the missing Avena Sativa is your aim, do what I do: combine TRIBEX and RED KAT. That appears to be the golden T-boosting stack.

Does anyone (perhaps any of the T-Nation/Biotest people) know what level of tribulus per day is considered the max “safe” dosage?

Thanks.

I think he meant that people stack TRIBEX and RED KAT.

There really isn’t any specific information on a maximum tolerated dosage, but I have seen that the tribulus is given in a 10-14 gram daily dosage in some Chinese medicine settings. I don’t know how well tolerated that dosage is, but would suspect it’s probably not too bad. Having said that, even if there were to be some figure given, it wouldn’t really apply directly to the tribulus product at Biotest as it consists only of a few specific, isolated compounds (i.e., protodioscin and its analogs) as compared to other products, which might contain, amongst other things, beta-carboline alkaloids and beta-carboline indoleamines, which are more likely to be responsible for adverse effects. Having said that, even with the product used with Biotest, taking too much could technically result in a hypotensive effect, which while not likley life-threatening in normal people, could certainly pose some problems (e.g., throbbing headache, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, etc.) So, I’d still recommend following the label directions and never exceeding the recommended dosage. It’s when we treat supplements, or rather the compounds in them as innocuous that we can get in to trouble.

Cy,

Back to my original question: Is there any problem/benefit combining Alpha Male and RED KAT?

I think if you want those extra ingredients, you need to take TRIBEX, RED KAT, and M. If you want the efficient low-hassle form, take Alpha Male.

Since Alpha Male is basically a combo of TRIBEX, RED KAT, and M, adding any of the three would likely be too much. Just buy the separate products if you want all the lesser ingredients that have been removed to make Alpha Male.

Cy,

But would you recommend stacking TRIBEX and RED KAT vs just taking Alpha Male? If you were to stack the too how would you do it?

Thanks,

I’d simply use Alpha Male instead. Probably cheaper too.

I don’t recommend using the two concurrently. The only potential benefit would be the Sclaremax and its’ potential effects on endogenous testosterone. The contribution however, based upon other data, is likely small.
