What???
C. Thomas Howell in Red Dawn. What a piece of ass. WOLVERINES!!!
Not that he had the best movie physique of all time, but Robert DeNiro in Cape Fear was impressive, especially since he was 48 at the time.

Arnold in Conan, Bruce Lee in Return of the Dragon. Uncanny wide V when flexed his back, ripped, and purely functional. The guy had huge Popeye forearms too; they look practically bizarre in some shots. Skinny legs, but what the hell, they were still incredibly athletic ones. Not the type of physique favored on this board, but that’s fine, and many weightlifters with much bigger bodies don’t have as impressive forearms as he did.
Carl Weathers and Dolf Lungren also had really impressive physiques.
And Jessica Biehl is incredibly beautiful. Being in fantastic shape is just a bonus. [/quote]
If the word “functional” is used one more time to somehow make skinny seem more impressive than being muscular I’m going to stab you in the face.
Bruce Lee’s forearms look large because the man has practically no muscle on his body (he weighed less than 150 I believe). I can guarantee you he did not have 17 inch forearms.

The kids just won’t let the Lee myth die. Of course it is being fueled by those who stand to make a buck by continuting to build the image.
I think he was about 145lbs. at his largest.
Do any of you remember a movie called Stone Cold?It came out in '89-'92 with Brian Bosworth.Any how in the begginnig he fought this guy in a sand pit.The guy he fought was Tom Magee a former world powerlifting champion, and Worlds Strongest Man.
That guy was impressive 6’5" 265-275 very lean.He was not only big, lean, and strong but was also able to do standing back flips full splits etc.Thats my pick for ultimate movie physique.
As an adolescent, I aspired to look like buff bagwell from the WCW.
Just took a look at “Any given Sunday” again and I have to say that Andrew Bryniarski as Pete “madman” Kelley has to have the best phisique going…
He’s 6’5, to have that much muscle on that type of frame is impressive…
Dude is an animal in that film.
GAINER

Who cares?
The issue I’m talking about is how functional what he has, is. He was a little guy who could hit much, much harder than most big ones. This to me is so much more important than having 17 inch forearms, you wouldn’t believe it.

Kids? That fits with the rest of your post. You presume a lot, including to know what you’re talking about.
Lee never came close to weighing 150 pounds.
His forearms were VERY well developed. Give credit where credit is due, and it’s due here.
I’m not making a buck off Lee.
The number and quality of people who held Lee in high esteem is beyond question. Ed Parker said he was “one in a billion” and “had the biggest mouth in the world, but could back up every single thing he said.”
If you take Lee’s movies too seriously, you probably take other movies way too seriously too, and that’s hardly Lee’s fault. And it certainly doesn’t do anything to take away from his abilities.
