Do me a favor.
Add back his Foreign Tax Credit. What is his percentage then.
Also, then add back his charitable contributions.
I hope your utter lack of understanding of the subject isn’t too complicated.
What ? you mean the money he makes and keeps in other counties ?
It means that 14% is only a part of the total picture.
"If you paid or accrued foreign taxes to a foreign country on foreign source income and are subject to U.S. tax on the same income, you may be able to take either a credit or an itemized deduction for those taxes.
Taken as a deduction, foreign income taxes reduce your U.S. taxable income.
Taken as a credit, foreign income taxes reduce your U.S. tax liability. In most cases, it is to your advantage to take foreign income taxes as a tax credit."

If Mitt paid American taxes that exceeded middle class’s he would have probably been PREZ. I am betting the only reason he paid %14 is because if he paid his usual people would have been aghast .
What does this even mean?
He paid the rate her was require to pay based off the tax code. If you don’t like it, call your Congregational representative they make the laws.

No, I mean, if you knew WTF you were talking about you would know that foreign tax credit is a credit (a dollar for dollar reduction in tax) for taxes you paid, just to a jurisdiction outside of the US. Seeing as we don’t take people twice on the same income, you get a credit.
Therefore, when you add back his foreign taxes paid, you get a better idea of what his actual tax rate was. And no, it isn’t what upworthy told you it was.
Works the same way if you work outside of your home state. same principles.

You want to know how I know that Buffet is lying?
Because I doubt he pays his secretary the amount of income it would take for her to pay a higher effective rate.
Admin professionals don’t make that much…

Seeing as there was a signed letter from a big four firm claiming what pittstttt is begging on is false, I’m going out on a limb and assuming pitttttt owes his bookie some dough.
There are so many facets to Mitt’s taxes that people don’t, and will likely never take the time to understand, that it is a fucking joke at this point watching lefties froth at the mouth. Because it doesn’t stop them from voting for ultra rich democrats, like Kerry, lol.

Fucking lol.
You know, when the bottom 90% of tax payers only pay 30% of the taxes a country taxes in, of course tax cuts benefit the 10% of people that actually shoulder the burden of taxation more. Just omg that this is a hard concept to understand for so many people.
Also… Bush and his tax cuts saw more overall tax revenue come into the government than any president before him, in dollars adjusted for inflation even… So not sure how in the world the “deficit” chart is even remotely true.

She would firmly be in that magically “1%” everyone hates, but in this instance, she is akin to someone eating out of a dumpster, because Mitt Romney and some other person lefties are jealous of, yet still love the Kennedys Kerry.
Kennedy’s & Kerry

Why stop at 1% though?
I hate everyone who makes more money than me. I am American and it is my God given right to bitch about everything. I’m cool with the people in this thread so far…except for those who make more than me.

What I am talking about is robbing the middle to feed the rich
They are robbing the middle to pay the rich and blaming it on the poor

Actually the rich and poor are robbing the middle, but okay.

I’ve linked quite a bit of factual numbers that shows this isn’t true at all, yet you continue to just say it over and over again…
