I know, I was definitely asking myself the same question today. Came out of the shower and just fell asleep on the bed instantly - like my body just shut itself down couldn’t fight it at all, assuming that’s my CNS telling me to get stuffed!
Honestly thought I was reasonable at chin ups until this, I think on it’s own 100 isn’t bad, probably still hard (obviously not for @Cyrrex be like a 10th of his normal chin up volume) but that’s just an accessory movement. I’d recommend getting to the point where you can do a good few sets of 10(+) before you start this program, but when you do get all 100 in the session, it’s probably what makes the program so effective/soul destroying (join us in the misery!).
That sounds like me. I could do 100 reps in a workout out of sheer bloody mindedness. It would probably take me 3 hours of banging out singles and doubles though.
That’s the spirit, you’re 100% ready for BtM!
How’s your stomach hanging in there? Most of the time I feel fine, but every now and again, whew.
Never trust a fart while doing BtM…never…
Ah confession time, I’m not doing BtM - I have no desire to adhere to that diet the program is suffering enough for me without adding absurd amounts of beef and eggs. I’m still running this is a surplus but just more tailored to my wallet and wife!
Boo!
That’s like Super Squats without the milk.
Totally understandable. Never thought I’d miss chicken. I really want to see what my cholesterol levels are after this.
Haha sorry to disappoint, I thought I’d already mentioned it before I started! Yes I know that essentially means I’m not doing BtM but we’ll call it BtM lite… or Alex’s abomination.
Whatever you’re turns into is definitely Better than mine ![]()
Haha no hard to miss chicken, except roast, I love roast chicken. Although 6 weeks of beef and eggs will do that to you.
Are you getting tested and do you have a before? Be a great experiment! There is some debate going on in another thread that’s anti current medical advice on cholesterol but having seen @T3hPwnisher 's results recently having significantly cut sat fat I’d be interested to see what someone significantly increasing sat fat would achieve!
Are you implying that cheese with a side of cheese dipped in butter ISN’T good for health ![]()

Conventional medical advice says no…
Others on this forum say yes…
I don’t care enough to worry either way at present!
Although I do find the subject interesting.
I do have a before, but insurance won’t cover an after. So I’ll pass on the after. Before all my tests were great. Cholesterol was 169 maybe? Lipid panels were great. I’m sure 6 weeks of eating this way probably won’t have much of an effect, hopefully.
Private lab tests not cheap near you? Sort of thing you can do fairly easy/cheap here and some of the TRT guys in US seem to be able to. But presumably it’s a case of not being that interested, not sure I’d bother if it wasn’t part of my regular blood test - not exactly high risk with no family history, no family CVD, and in my 30s.
I have a genetic factor going on as well. I think someone sticking with just eggs and beef should be fine, especially if grass fed beef and omega 3 free range eggs.
I thought cholesterol levels were predominately genetic. That’s to say - some people could eat healthy and exercise and still have high cholesterol. Where as some people can eat a (moderately) unhealthy diet, do very little exercise and still manage a healthy level.
Not that I’m aware of. I would have to get a Doctor to order the labs, thats 1 visit. Pay for the labs and then another visit to the doc to tell me what the lab results say…which is nutty. My family history is garbage but they eat horribly and never move. So far all of my physicals say I’m good in that department and I’m 38. Probably should pay more attention to dairy type foods right now though. I don’t eat much bacon but I do eat some pork sausage with my eggs.
That sounds insane, I can get a full cholesterol check for £39 (about $50) they post it I do a finger prick test and send it back total time about 3-5 days no Dr needed.
I think there’s some that are self inflicted and some that are genetic. Mine levels are okish despite my pretty poor diet (somewhat improved recently) so that’s also got to be genetic (to make up for my bicep genetics!)
