Nice river or lake ??
That is stunning!
Morning weigh in, 202 (14.6) cleaning* up my diet has accidentally turned into a mini cut although I definitely don’t feel any leaner - so assuming it’s the lower sodium and therefore dropping a bit of water weight.
(* I still ate 2 pieces of cake and a treacle sponge pudding with custard yesterday - clean is a relative term here).
Keeping it clean going forward, I’ll increase the nuts and maybe throw in a banana, oat, protein smoothie.
The kind that doesn’t have big chest freezers.
No kidding, me and the missus were talking about what stuff we’d like to get and instead of fancy holidays and stuff, a chest freezer topped the list
You are doing it right!
A big freezer is lifechanging. About the only issue I ran into was stocking the damn thing up with a ton of beef and then switching to a stupidly low red meat intake, so now I gotta work through that.
No. Our river is used for sports during an annual festival and the events often get canceled because it’s not safe for humans to get in the water. Our lakes are shallow, over crowded, and often have green algae warnings.
We buy 1/3 of a beef and my wife turned vegan on me. I haven’t had any trouble eating it, though. I go through five pounds of hamburger almost weekly.
I miss this, haha.
I’ve started taking two meals to work and each consists of half a pound of steamed veggies (usually broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower) and a cheeseburger.
I would usually just make taco meat and mix it all together. That exact same blend of veggies.
Really need to figure out which week/wave I’m on, although I’m too the point of having messed with the program too much, will run this and another wave, then run the two week testing and maybe run the whole thing again (maybe with some accessories?!)

Wanted more out of squats today but back was stiff and mentally wasn’t there. Kept rest to prescribed time - bang on an hour including conditioning, probably a record for squat day.
Week 8? Day 1
Had a shout from 3am-6am this morning, exhausted and then out all day on a leisurely walk with church. Yesterday was a fairly decent but easy bike ride and I’ve still got doms from squatting Saturday. All in all I had zero desire to train, but given DH change your mindset focus I thought screw it I’ll train (plus it screws up the week too much to miss it, miss 3 days a week for that level of flexibility).
Conditioning:
40m run (2 turns) with kB & 5 push ups in 20 secs rest 10 secs repeat for 10 mins.
Quads confirmed for me here that they were not going to play ball hence rdl not trap bar deads:
Gs1:
KB swings: 24kg X 5 X 5 sets
RDL: 60, 100, 120, 130, 140kg X 5
Cable crunch: 60kg X 8 X 5 sets
BJJs: red X 8 X 5 sets
GS2
Everything as above with
RDL: 112.5 X 11, 10, 10
Kept rest at 1.5 mins for 5rm and 2 mins volume. Everything in me was telling me to quit here but I remembered the mindset change and pushed on:
Emoms
75kg & blue bands X 3 X 10 sets
Well that was horrible but I did it. Not a fun session, I was sweating so hard at the end I had to close my eyes on BJJs because sweat was so heavy in my eyes I couldn’t see.
Nothing special at all but did the work and pushed myself hard, no listening to my head’s desire of laziness and comfort - definitely a win.
What are those?
I think banded jumping jacks.
I have both a hard time and a fun time picturing this, haha.
They’re on my long list of exercises that might be great but I’ll never know because I’ll never ever do them.
There is a video up-log but I’m too lazy to find it. Warning: contains nudity and scenes of a sexual nature
Not sure if you’re trying to encourage or warn me to search for it. Depends on who is naked I guess
It’s me and it’s artistic!
