Is this a Harry Potter reference

That was an amazing guess. But extremely wrong.

Daily:

5 rounds
Chins X 7
Dips X 12
Ghr X 7
Hanging leg raise X 6
Y raise X 10

Everything went up a rep and ghr length got shortened (increasing difficulty, but subsequently feeling better at doing what it’s supposed to), switch ab rolls out for HLR, see how this goes for a couple of cycles (counting my 6 day weeks as a cycle).

Ate before I came in to see what happens, not a huge difference but I moved slower and felt more out of breath, might have just been increased difficulty/reps.

Thanks @ChongLordUno just adding little bits at a time, it’s been good so far, feel slightly fatigued by Friday/Saturday have the day off Sunday and ready to ramp it up just a tiny bit more.

Haha for sure - this just works really well (in terms of work load, timing and getting something done first thing). Hopefully over the course of months/years it’ll add up - just over the 2 weeks of doing this I’ve done 330 chin ups, ghrs and ab rolls, 630 dips and 480 y raises. Just sticking at that level that’s thousands of extra movements that are all beneficial, easy to recover from and will make me stronger/fitter healthier etc, with no major effort required (10/15 mins a day which would just be spent on my phone normally).

I remember watching “Thank You For Smoking” in college and walking away thinking “Hey: I could do that”

I think I got the wrong message from the movie…

Haha absolutely loved that film, totally on the same page about the wrong conclusion.

Today’s work:

Block pull (3.75 inch, just dropped a whole concrete block been to high to really get much from) - 60, 100 X 5, 120, 140, 160kg X 3

Felt comfortable until 160, which didn’t feel great on the back. Even after 160 though my back felt ok.

TBDL (for clarity I always do these high handle)
67, 107 X 5, 147, 167, 187, 207kg X 1, 217kg X fail - completely mental fail bar didn’t even budge.

Punishment:
147kg X 15

Lay down:

Axle poundstone: 21kg X 80, 8 gasps (bar down) 20.

Lat pulldown: 80kg X 15 X 3

Cable row: 80kg X 20 X 4

From someone who read the books, it’s Krum. Crom is a Conan reference. And Krum plays quidditch, ya fuckin muggle.

Haha I love how this website breaks the meathead stereotypes, so many nerd references. (Totally onboard with it spent over 3000 hours of my childhood playing 1 MMORPG, which was played by less than 500 worldwide - I earned my nerd card the hard way).
