Maybe. You only see one side of it more due to the media being left leaning. Doesn’t mean the right isn’t doing the same but getting little attention.
I think the right has definitely started doing it in response for sure. But, cancel culture and attempting to ban and restrict speech that they don’t agree with through nefarious and cowardly means is definitely a leftist creation here recently.

If I were Jones, I would have foreseen this possibility long ago.
His attorneys have to have foreseen this coming at some point from all the stuff over the years. I am sure he is more protected or has things structured in a way to minimize this to a large extent.
I would definitely have multiple ways to avoid paying much even if it was burning everything to the ground before I would hand over a damn thing.

Yeah, I kind of hate people that feel they have a right to your money because you said something that hurt their feelings. They weren’t owed anything other than an apology.
I’d rather burn it all down than let them have a penny of it.

The laws are different when the target is a public figure. So you’re ok.
