Air Fryer Recommendations

Hi friends!

I am looking at purchasing an air fryer, so I can make crispy fries and use them as a carb source.

Apparently with these machine you can “air fry” potato fries using less than a tablespoon of oil, giving you crispy delicious fries (Im getting sick of plain old baked potatoes).

Does anyone have one of these machine? Any recommendations on what model to purchase? Is it useful in cooking anything else as well?

Bumpity bump!

Since this original post I have purchased an air fryer and I am having great success.

Success stories involve crispy chips(fries) with no oil, perfectly cooked salmon, and “fried” teriyaki chicken.

Im using corn flour to dust my meat oi I want that “deep fried” effect. Anyone have any opinions on corn flour?

Strongly recommend this piece of equipment for the kitchen. It can be a time consuming with cutting up the potatoes or preparing the chicken, but the results are well worth it and is making my food much more macro friendly.

is it just so you can keep your carbs and fat separate? I know you’re far too intelligent to cut out the fat from your diet, so I’m just wondering

My diet is moderately high in fat. I don’t count my macros anymore, but I eyeball, and I am taking in about 90-120 grams of fat a day.

‘High protein, low carb and high fat’ during the day, and then ‘high protein, high carb and low fat’ in the evenings which is when I usually work out.

The Air fryer is great for my ‘high protein, high carb and low fat’ meals such as “fish and chips” and ““fried” teriyaki chicken” with rice etc.
