How typical is it to have AFIB when on a low cycle of 350mg Test Cyp/week and 300mg Boldenone per/week.

Enclomiphene 12.5mg/daily

Why are you on Enclomiphene?
Why are you not taking Tadalafil 5mg daily?
I’m hoping the Enclomiphene will prompt my pituitary to create FSH & LH. I’ve been told the androgen load will prevent that but I wanted to try. I was in 12.5mg every other day and that didn’t have any effect n FSH & LH so I’m trying 12.5mg daily. I was hoping I could prevent being totally shut down while on cycle and get my pituitary to limp along.
I was taking Tadalafil 5mg daily but my heart rate went as low as 49 that I measured. Could have gotten lower, so don’t know. I also got dizzy sometimes but never when lifting. Also the back pumps were crazy on 5mg/day when lifting. Sometimes I’d have to wait like 20 minutes after squatting before I’d attempt to deadlift because the back pump was that crazy.
Thats correct, Clomid wont budge the LH/FSH marker even at 100mg per day. Been there, tried it.
Thanks, I figured I’d try. I guess it was a waste of money. Also I heard after the fact that it may increase clotting risk which is very scary.
I left one thing out. I started taking Sermorelin about three weeks ago. The weird feeling with my heart maybe started soon after adding that. Not that it points to that as the culprit but really coincidental.
Nope, not happening! This is a failure to understand how the HPTA axis functions and is nothing more than a belief that something you want to happen will happen even though it’s not likely or possible.
The pituitary gland is doing its job, detecting adequate amounts of testosterone in the bloodstream and therefore blunting secretion of LH and FSH to regulate everything.
You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
It isn’t typical, but not unheard of. @readalot / @tareload had an episode with low doses of Test and Deca (I think around 200-300 mg each).
This should be a culprit in your investigation. I’d recommend you lower to TRT or stop using the gear if you had an AFIB episode, but I wouldn’t rule out the Minoxidil as the potential cause, or a contributing factor.
Your dose is low (I assume you are using it for hair growth, not BP with the dose), but even the low doses have been reported to cause heart beat irregularity. Some even get this with topical, so I for sure wouldn’t rule out oral minoxidil as a cause.
Not very. The real question is has it happened to you and that’s why your’e asking? Or is this a hypothetical/
That is very important. Can you please provide the source on Minoxidil causing heart rate issues in some people. I knew I saw that somewhere but can’t find it.
I like this guy for stuff related to hair loss (although the thumb nails he chooses can make him seem a bit less trustworthy lol). He is IMO pretty conservative with Oral Minoxidil, but I think he does a good job of understanding the research, and presenting it fairly. He has a few videos on oral minoxidil, and he lists his sources in the description if you want to dive deeper. From the description:
FWIW, I think for most people oral minoxidil is fairly safe (I take it myself) as long as dose is low.
It also seems like the people with heart issues from oral minoxidil also usually display other side effects related to the drug. By that I mean it is rare for someone to only have the heart side effects without other side effects like pedal edema (this one specifically seems to be present in almost all of the people that get heart side effects from the drug). Do you present with pedal edema? If you do, I’d stop the oral minoxidil. If you don’t, you shouldn’t rule the minoxidil out, but it makes it less likely.
I was admitted to the hospital last night and put on a blood thinner and cardizem. I have a procedure scheduled for tomorrow called a cardiversion.
I pray that’ll get my heart rhythm back to normal. I’ll quit caffeine and lower the gear way down. Also quit the minoxidil in case that was the culprit.
The procedure was successful. I’ll stop all caffeine for a week or two and take a deload of a week or two as well. Maybe only have limited caffeine when lifting. Will stop the minoxidil to be safe since I already experienced an irregular heartbeat. Boldenone may have been a mistake. Will stick to just Test and maybe Deca. Will stop Test shots for a while to bring my levels down. I was on 350mg Test Cyp/week plus the Boldenone. I’ll go back down to a TRT level of 120mg or 180mg/week. Will give it some time before increasing Test again and maybe adding in Deca.
Glad to hear youre ok👍
You should probably just stick with TRT doses. You can still get respectably big on TRT+ without so much risk
To avoid AFIB, make sure you are drinking enough water. Alcohol + Dehydration + Caffeine is a very common culprit (ie a night of drinking followed by several cups of coffee to get moving the next morning). Also, watch the diuretics, including those added with your BP medicine.
I agree here. I’d hope if I had a hospital visit due to AFIB, that I’d be on the only reasonable TRT doses from there on out. I say hope, because I tend to want to push things, and a few years later, I might be feeling invincible enough to try blasting again.
