There’s actually a bunch of redheads in comics… I think just because it provides a nice contrast to a lot of the dark backgrounds:
Rogue, Jean Grey, Fairchild, poison ivy, red sonja, batwoman, black widow for chicks
guys: cyclops, daredevil (I think), deadpool (I think), ravage, flash (I think), Rorschach, guy gardner, carnage, banshee
