I’ve been working in the real world the past couple years, it does suck because I’m working in a warehouse. The main reason why I messed up school last year was because I worked too many hours. I want to finish school, but I can’t make a decision on what to study. I always seem to find something wrong with each major I think of.
I have enough saved to finish school without working 1 more hour over the next 3 years, and not take out any loans. But then theres the side of me that likes money so much that I always try squeezing in a job along with school. I even threw 4k into a roth ira a few weeks ago.
I’m sure the smart thing would be to quit my job and focus on school 100%, perhaps going back to the major I was originally folling, mechanial engineering technology. I just feel like an idiot because I dropped out of two classes for that major last year.
If I could do it all over again, going back to high school, I would be like most every other normal college student and not work 50hrs a week and live on campus and keep myself in that enviroment.
