Advice on Lab Results

Yeah I started with a tT of 150 and have been chasing around a 2 1/2 year old for the past 2 hours trying to get him to bed. His 7 and 5 year old brothers are already in bed. Conception for each child consisted of unprotected sex ONE time! I’m presuming my sperm count and morphology is normal in spite of that awfully low tT.

While low T levels do affect many men’s ability to produce healthy sperm it seems this is variable. [/quote]

Interesting! Thanks for the response.

So, I take it your low T didn’t afftect your libido? My libido seems to be alright, as do my errections, but I have no morning wood.

What were your symptoms before treatment?

I make a distinction between libido and erectile performance…at least this has been the case for me.

At no time have I ever had ED. I have had low libido for the past 10 years. In my head libido is that thing inside of you that makes you interested in sex…the initiator. Erectile performance is simply if you can get and maintain an erection. Even with low libido (my wife having to talk me into it) once things got rolling I WAS ALWAYS INTERESTED.

Even now on TRT with HCG my libido is not what it was when I was 17 but it’s improved. While I’ve never had ED problems the quality of my erections now has GREATLY improved. They are like they were when I was 17. I’m also capable of having sex 3 or 4x a day now. In the past 1x would wipe me out for the rest of the day.

You know, when you put it that way, it does sound a lot like myself. I honestly would rather watch football or play a game then get it on with my girlfriend, who is very attractive. Now, if she starts something, I’m good to go… like you said.

Did you have issues with energy/tiredness, always having a shortfuse?

Yes to energy/tiredness/short fuse.

Energy is much better.

Tiredness is much better

Short fuse is a little better…I think I’m just naturally kind of a dick (I’ve been told I have an “edge” ).

Depression and anxiety are also MUCH better…basically non-existent.

So today, I did something different. I went for pellets, instead of injections. My main reason for this is I travel A LOT! I don’t want to have to worry about carrying what is needed for injections.

That said, I’m not saying never to injections (and I know those here are more favorable to injections) but for now, this is what I’m doing.

The procedure itself was completely painless. Even now, 6 hours later, I have no pain at location. I felt 4 small pinches that were less painful than a normal insulin needle (if you consider those painful… lol). I will keep everyone up to date on lab results and how I feel. I’m told it can take a few weeks to get me up to where I will notice it, since my last lab work showed me total at 190 and free at 3.7.

Please keep us posted on your results with the pellets. I also travel weekly and they would be an easier option. I have a customer that went from injects to pellets and was very happy with the results.

Also, did your doctor for you to a place for the pellets?

How much did they cost?

Will do, man!

I’m not sure what you’re asking me with the first question…

They were $700 total (all together). That is expensive and if this works well, I might switch to injections to get that side of it to see if the hassle is worth the price.

Typed it wrong - meant to ask if your doctor referred you to a place to get the pellets, or how that went down…

My PCP referred me to an Endo who told me my levels at the age of 29 (350total and under the normal on Free T) was perfectly fine. I found a TRT in my area that laughed and ran several blood tests over a course of 4-5 weeks, also while using HCG 500iu’s every other day. My levels actually went down on this. This doctor is the one that did the pellet insertion. I had the choice of injections, but because I travel so often and to places where carrying needles isn’t easy to pass through security (outside the US) I went pellets.

It’s been 72 hours since my insertion. So far, just some bruising, and a small amount of discomfort. Should be gone by tomorrow or Thursday. I will report back with any updates as they happen, or lack there of and lab results in about 6 weeks.

It will be 3 weeks since I started pellets and I feel no different. Getting blood work done in 3 weeks. I’ll have more then
