Was wondering if anyone could help with me some recent bloods I have done (below). I am 26 years old, have done about three small test cycles (between 6 and 10 weeks) over the last four years. The most recent was a 500mg/ week Test Prop, 6 week cycle which finished in April. I have done proper PCT on every cycle I have done.
For the last year or so I have been having symptoms of low test on and off -low libido, tired all the time, lack of drive. Some weeks are randomly better than others, but it does seem to be getting progressively worse.
Have done bloods before and my test levels have always been between 13 and 18 so not high, but not particuarly low either.
can anyone please explain to me why my free testosterone is out of range but my testosterone is okay, and also why is my FSH f**ked but my LH is okay? Can’t find anything to explain this on google as it seems normally both are tanked.
Any help gratefully received
SHBG is the major influence on free testosterone, a total testosterone of 389 ng/dL isn’t enough testosterone given your SHBG being midrange. In your case testosterone is quite a bit lower than it looks, SHBG is overstating your testosterone.
The higher SHBG, the more total testosterone and man needs to equal the same free testosterone as a lower SHBG man.
You’re looking to have primary hypogonadism and testicles are damaged from abusing testosterone, LH is midrange and testosterone should also be higher.
Testicles are responding poorly.
Thank you for response. So you think this is primary hypogonadism? I always thought that was associated with both decreased LH and FSH, rather than just one (FSH in my case)
Also do you know of any drugs that can take down my SHBG?
Would you recommend TRT on these figures?
Thanks so much for your help. Am at a loss with my these bloods and my curren symptoms and any advise gratefully received.
You can not make a decision based on 1 lab draw. Hormones fluctuate way to much. Supposedly FSH is more stable then LH. Meaning LH can go up and down to a greater degree.
