Currently I’m 29, 6’1, 200, 10% body fat. I workout 3-4 times a week heavy compound lifts bench 275, squat 365, deadlift 425. Sprint work for cardio, 1-2 times a week, I eat calories to maintain body weight, I eat within the 3,000-3,500 range, mostly focusing on protein first. Cook most of my meals at home. In the past I played college basketball, and sports my whole life. Took a small cycle of prohormones around a 2 week cycle at 23 years old. Then one shot of testosterone haha I know not smart.
Recently went to a wellness clinic to get labs drawn and the NP recommended HCG+Clomid or I can think about TRT. Based off my labs. Any advice based off labs
Why would you even consider TRT?
I’d be more concerned with your lipid and metabolic panel than test levels.
Did they not see the same bloodwork?
Why did you go there in the first place?
I was also worried about my APO B being high since heart disease runs in my family and the NP didn’t seem to care.
I went to a wellness clinic called Alexander Medical. I did not consider TRT, the NP said that would raise the free test. Since mine was 9.4 and the reference for my age group was 9.3-26. Lipids aren’t too bad, LDL little elevated, and my HDL is still high. I follow mostly carnivore diet which explains the numbers. Liver enzyme is elevated because I got sick and took Tylenol to control the fever. CRE is elevated because I went into get blood work after not drinking anything from 8-1400, slightly dehydrated and I worked out hard the day before. NP went over blood work, was getting a second opinion through transcend labs.
Stellar IGF-1 and TT.
Free Test could use some work.
SHBG was not included, which is most unfortunate.
Your lipids are fuckered though.

Yes, surprised at my Igf-1 levels being good since I don’t sleep well. I talked to a wellness specialist yesterday and he mentioned the free testosterone not being high due to DHEA-sulfate being low. Not sure how accurate or true it is. I know, i asked for them to be included not sure why they weren’t. But the second opinion person i spoke with said that the SHBG doesn’t get looked at with DHEA being low. I am guessing it’s going to be high.

The medical establishments need you to have a disease in order to treat you and make money off you. Preventing, healing and curing you is not a good financial model for them.
A lot of doctors only in it for the money. Your doctor will jump at the opportunity to treat something he can make money off of.
Contrary to popular belief, high cholesterol and high LDL are healthy and has never been proven to cause heart disease.
The Direct Free T method sometimes shows higher levels when compared with the more accurate assays.

Which is why I don’t have a primary as bad as that is, I was tired of Dr’s trying to find something wrong. So I haven’t had a doctor for a few years. I wanted a doctor that doesn’t necessarily go off the western medicine model. Thanks for your time and response.
Trying to figure out how to improve free testosterone. Currently trying 6mg boron.
Any ways I can increase that Free Testosterone and lower SHBG?
There’s some common misconceptions about the relationship between Free T and SHBG, decreasing SHBG doesn’t increase Free T. Free T is made in the testicles, via LH stimulation from the pituitary gland.
SHBG has nothing to do with how much Free T levels in circulation. So lowering your SHBG won’t increase LH and therefore Free T, no mechanism for that.
Sure ways to increase Free T, diet and lifestyle and if you’ve already worked hard to teaked it, then you can’t increase Free T and reality needs to start setting in that you’ve reached your full genetic potential.
Look at this young 20 year olds hormone panel who is not on hormone therapy->
Total Testosterone LC/MS: 1,238 H (250-1100) high
Free Testosterone Equilibrium Dialysis: 195.6 H (35-155) high
LH: 5.4 (1.5-9.3)
FSH: 5.3 (1.6-8)
SHBG: 65 H (10-50) high

Ok that makes sense. Thanks for your input. When I talked to the NP she was saying my LH and FSH are pretty much content because my total testosterone is so high.
Good point based off that panel. I was reading life style changes such as exercise, sun exposure, losing weight and eating healthier help it, but I have focused on all that stuff the past 15 years, I started lifting at 14 years old, health and wellness have been a part of that journey.
That member was on thyroid medicine, which was overdriving his testosterone production and also driving up his SHBG.
If it comes in a bottle with any of the major food companies, don’t touch it! If it looks mass produced, stay away. A co-worker yesterday was eating a hotdog from 7 Eleven that cost a dollar, I cringed as he ate it!
hey brother, what’s your email I have some questions about SBHG. I recently had labs redone
